Primary focus? Running a diary farm. If he wanted to make millions each year from his festival, he could. He takes a wage from doing this, nothing more. If you know different please do let the rest of us know.

I paid £175 and for that kind of money I deserve to have my stuff cleaned up for me.

FFS, there are a lot of people getting murdered every day and people want to make an issue of some rubbish in a field. (Rubbish which the festival is prepared to clear and has probably cleared by now)

:)

I actually thought dirk and rockstar might have been trolling and was about to kick myself for rising to their bait. Instead I've come to the conclusion that they are perfect examples of why some people (e.g. their parents) should not have been allowed to breed.

Dunno, your username is rhyming slang... sort of inviting it a bit :) If you have a sense of humour you will see that calling someone that, when their chosen moniker is jameshunt is vaguely amusing and that if the said jameshunt gets annoyed by it, it is deliciously ironically funny. Saying someone's parents shouldn't be allowed to breed is just cruel and has no mitigating humour.

Bet let's not get sidetracked. :D

That video just shows, no matter what is done, nothing will change!

and to be honist, it really does not bother me.. you might think this is a really stupid thing to say, but at least it's keeping in jobs, collecting all the mess etc......

This is where i base my opinion.. watch the video... everyone needs to stop watching to much news about how much we are fuking up the planet, when infact, we are not.

I'm sorry... saying someone's username is inviting insults due to the fact that it half-rhymes with something else?

What complete and utter nonsense.

You're basically saying that everyone on the planet deserves to have abuse hurled at them if, for example, their second name is Hunt... and if they take offense, they have no sense of humour????

Even with humour being such a subjective thing, you would have to score pretty low in the mental capacity charts to find that funny... and then you go on to comment on what is *not* humour?

Your increasingly ridiculous comments have you firmly labelled you as a troll.

Sorry but I must be a bit old or something but when when I was growing up that username genuinely was cokney rhyming slang and to me seeing someone chose that as their username and then get annoyed by the reference is amusing. If I have a crap sense of humour in your opinion then so be it.

Back on Topic.

Who here would participate in a litter picking for beer token type scheme?

The more I think about it it may be a very workable project that would produce the desired results.

Tens of thousands of people are walking around on site at any given moment so it really wouldn't be a big deal to carry a couple of bags to a collection point you'd be passing anyway, the incentive of a bit of free beer may be all that is needed to kick start this.

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
