How do you manage?

I want to be able to feel safe while I'm jumping around or whatever to, say, The Prodigy, but I'm very paranoid and keep checking my pockets every minute. I'm thinking I should invest in either a locker (if they do them) or try and find some shorts with zip pockets before the festival.

I believe there's nowhere near as much crime at Glasto as you'll find at most festies, I guess its just something to do with the people it attracts.

Combats with zips mate are the way forward and i always tie my phone to my belt.

If you really want to keep stuff secure that you won't need every few minutes, use the lock-ups (and donate handsomely to the nice people running them)!

Try and look for not very girly pixie pockets, if you search "pocket belt" on ebay you'll see the sort of thing I mean.

Bags can get put down and forgooten, plus they are heavy/hot/a pain. Money bags ditto.

Pockets with zips- cargo trousers/shorts, God's own invention!

I used to sew velcro into the tops of my combat pockets for pit activities. Works well, but one side does tend to collect grass and dirt in festivals.

The bags from the Guardian stalls are really good, they sort of self fasten when they're on. Thats what I used last year

drawstring bag. last year i had a rucksack but kept checking it every 5 mins for fone n cam. it was awful. now ill have ma fone round ma neck and a drawstring bag with drinks n stuff in.

A arm/ wrist /shoe wallet. The shoe ones are small but you can get cash in there and they are so light you forget it's on

i have combats, they are ok for some stuff but when you laden your pockets down with phone, camera, smoke tin, wallet etc they become a bit heavy & mine start falling down & agnoying me. for the past couple of years those bags you get with the paper there have been ace.
