NEEDING SOME LUCK

Well.. An exhausting year since the last glasto and now reduced to the slimmest of chances to be there this year.

Spot the bull finished today and i've entered every comp i could find over the past few weeks, i think it's time to admit defeat unfortunately.

I had ticket deposit down in october for me and my girlfriend, could not work due to ill health from november, couldnt pay the rest off in february, order cancelled by see tickets, diagnosed with lymphoma at end of feb, apply to return to glastonbury with theatre company (last year girlfriend and colleagues take beatles puppets to glastonbury, you would know if you saw them you could not miss them !! ), further cancer treatment feb - may, this week-return to work- tickets gone, no reply about beatles puppets, competitions finishing and 24-29th june still booked down as holiday with only enough to get somewhere and food.

I cant descibe how gutted i am. This is'nt the first time i will miss glastonbury through circumstances beyond my contol and this one is just too hard too take, i thought i'd sorted it in october, i should have somehow payed it all off then. At least i have back my health so need to get some perspective i know but hoping i'm not the only one missing out unexpextedly, i honestly thought in october we already had one foot in the field and there was no way we would miss out.

The moral of this story........get tickets payed off in october so you can say for sure you will be there the following June !!!!
