DONT QUEUE FOR THE ORANGE TENT. You have to stay with your phone, you only get 20 mins of charge and have already wasted 3 hours queuing for the privelege. (WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS STUPID ACTIVITY!!???) Buy cheap spare batts or cheap arse phone off fleabay or find one of the stalls in the market that charges a fiver but with a locker for your phone, you leave it and return and your phone is fully charged.

Better yet...dont take a phone!

Sorry for any angriness that may have come across there...some things...simple things just get my goat.

Camp near enough your pedestrian gate in. Remember, you have to walk there (and back) twice with all your stuff. It can be a long way especially if it's wet or busy.

Get orientated before you get sh t faced. You won't find your tent when 3000 others have been put round it if you're only vague about where it could be.

Think about time being a vague concept and that getting from one stage to another in ten minutes simply isn't going to happen.

Don't wait until you need to go to the loo before you go to the loo - you will have to queue at the very busiest of times.

Eat a good breakfast/brunch/lunch. That is likely to be your last solid meal of the day.

Cigarettes are cheaper and more varied outside the festival than inside.

Getting home will not be as easy as you'd like. If you've a flight to New Zealand at 8pm, make sure you're at the car by 5am unless you like missing planes.

Don't try and do too much - soak it up as you walk around and don't be disappointed by missing something you really wanted to.

...this could go on for a long list!
