Gate C

Does anyone know if gate C is only for the campervans or can pedestrians use it as well when first getting to the festival? If people are parked in E6 or E11 do they have to walk all the way to the top of the parking and then to gate B or can they get to gate C?

There were so many routes according to the map but we were guided to gate B and there were plenty of places you couldn't go.

Gate C is one of the four pedestrian gates, any pedestrian can use them, well anyone with a ticket etc.

Yes, sometimes lots of walking involved, and hill-of-death is at Gate C, but it's not that bad, and you get a great view walking in.

First time last year and used Gate C. The hill was horrible I must say but seemed to go fast. Didnt expect the gate to be so small either!

Thanks Rocky. I'm trying to find out for someone who's staying on the new tented village on Pennard Farm but dropping off friends who need to get in to the festival via a pedestrian gate. They want to camp in Dragon. I don't suppose you'd also know if you can walk around the edge of the festival to the right and up to gate C? Last year I remember a whole load of roads that were blocked off and you were sent on a massive detour!

Just a small side note for people reading this thread: Don't do drop offs in Pilton village - it has come up at the council debrief.
