The Subways are pleased to announce the first wave of festivals that they will be playing this summer! Though the band are taking much of the summer to write for the 3rd album they will be making several Main stage appearance at major European festivals kicking off with one of Europe's biggest rock festivals 'Rock Am Ring' / 'Rock Im Park' in June!

The band will be warming up for these shows with the only 2 UK dates to be played this year, one in Bridgwater (Somerset) and the second in Derby. If you are desperate for your subways fix then get yourself down to one of these shows! But be quick as tickets are going fast...

Having played Reading and Leeds 5 times in a row the band have decided to take a year off from UK festivals but promise to return in 2010 with a new album/ tour and major festival appearances.

The Bridgwater show is one that I am helping with. Put on by Midnight Mango

The Subways are only playing 2 shows in the UK this year. Bridgwater and Derby, so they wont be at Glastonbury which is a shame!

Also a shame I can't go to the Bridgwater show either due to uni work :|
