oh rite fair enough, like i said i not seen him so not my comment, it's just what i'v heard, if he did play though i would prob go see him to make my own judgement, and as for re-aranging stuff, that can work well in some shows, means your not just listening to the same stuff as on the cd, but if you got no idea what your lsitening to it can have a bad effect, whitch is prob why i heard he is crap live

Had a some tickets to see him up in glasgow this weekend but sold them due to being skint :P (and also hearing that he ain't too hot live).

Did get double what I paid for them though which kind of makes up for it, would still love to see him.

I wrote in another thread that he's playing outdoor venues across the states this summer, so no chance.

I saw him Sunday. Once I got used to his live style, I loved it. By far the most significant singer / songwriter of his generation.

Hi guys

Saw Dylan in Cardiff on Tuesday night - read all the reviews before hand and feared the worst, but it was a great gig.

Previously had a good awareness of the man & his music, but not a fanatic, so was just able to enjoy the show. Great band, good mixture of old and new songs and I think the primarily standing nature of the gig lent itself to a more intimate venue compared to the O2, which had to be good news.

He's obviously getting on in years (aren't we all!) but the opportunity to see a legend could not be missed - for me an excellent night out. If you get the chance go along, at the right venue I doubt whether you would be disappointed.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
