I've got a 100L Regatta rucksack, cost me something like £40 in 2005. It's been to loads of festivals and is still in one piece, might not be as strong as some more expensive packs though. Also, I "only" walk from the car with it, so use has been fairly light compared to hiking with it all day.

I'd go for regatta one also. They are a known brand and i have a small rucksack by them and its served me very well.

85 litres is quite a big pack, size wise. I'm 5'5" and quite, erm, chunky, and there's no way I could carry an 85l pack simply becuase it's too 'long' in the body, even with the hip straps in the right place. 70l is much better.
