Weezer rumor kinda flat?

Just had a scout around the interwebz and apart from fans expressing desire for them to play.. theres no actull evidence to suggest so. Is it just because they wanted to play last year.. and didnt that people think they will this year?

Point me in the right direction if im wrong.

Didn't know which thread to drap up (there were quite a few Weezer ones!) However, if you check their tour dates

It clearly shows the Sunday of R/L not officially announced. I know this is only one of the two dates...but would they pull two days from their tour to come and play? Clutching at straws but you never know!!

Weezer are 100% not playing.. Unless they have clones.. They are on tour in the US with Blink with the following dates:

theres no way they'd do a 10000 mile round trip just for one show

even if the DC show doesn't happen, it appears they are still playing the shows the day before and the day after, which means it's pretty much 100% not happening. i doubt they'd play only one of the festival sites.

It's a shame really, I'd love to see Weezer - when did they even last play in this country? Surely they've got to pop over at some stage?

They would have been announced already if they were going to play. There's nowhere left to fill, assummg the FNM are headlining the tent on Friday
