Not sure if this has been picked up on in a previous post, but i'm just too lazy to check...

Is the ale at Glasto expensive?

Also at the Leeds Festival i know we can't take any cans etc... into the stage areas.

Is this the same at Glasto?

The ale is around £3.50p a pint & in Glasto there is no arena, so u can drink pretty much anywhere you want (even at the stages) with no restrictions.

No glass bottles though (wouldn't want to harm the cows lol) so bring cans instead & decant all spirits into plastic bottles.

Yep, it's about £3.50 a pint but because there is no arena, you can take your cans/plastic bottles everywhere with you wherever you want!!

Unlike Leeds , Glasto does not have a seperate arena. Once you are through the fence thats it.

So there is no q'ing or checking wristbands every morning !

thats sweet, been goin to oxegen for years now n they would take cans off you, and even if u had alcohol in plastic bottles sometimes they wouldnt let us in the main area!! but ther was ways to sneak it in

most big festivals have a main supplier/sponsor, which is why they won't let you take alcohol past a certain point, so you HAVE to buy their product i believe. the genius about glasto is you can more or less run free with your booze!
