bin doing glasters since 1990 and have worked the last 5 fests .......this year our gang of 20 od are camping in the family field is gate 2 just for staff....,.if so gate 3 hill of death is our best ?anyone...............deano

You probably won't get a choice of where you actually park. But it sounds like if you want the Family Camping up by the Acoustic stage you should go in on the Blue Route through Pylle if you can, as you'll enter the site at the top by the Big Ground and it's nice and quick from there.

yeah we come of the m5 at j23 but as we have kids n loads of gear a detour is needed i think can u help

you want to turn off around bristolish, find the A37 and follow it all the way to shepton malett then join the queue there for the east car parks.

coming off at junction 23 will lead you through glastonbury town and you'll end up in the west car parks.

thanks so much yeah in the past we r forced to park on the west parks and as u know dragging trolys n kids from there to family camping is not the way to start off thanks again ....i have a real good feeling about this year have a great one .....dean&gangxxxxxx

it just depends what parking field they put you in really, we were in the vans/minibusses field of the west carparks in 2007 and it took us less than an hour from getting to the bus to being on the open road. that was at about 1pm too, at the height of all the delays; we were listening to the reports on radio avalon (or whatever it's called) and we saw none of it.
