Day tickets

Hi all,

I'm aware that the policy taken by Download is to see how many weekend tickets they can sell before they put any day tickets on sale.

"Day tickets are not on sale for the Festival and it may be that we don't go on sale with any day tickets, dependant on weekend ticket sales."

The lineup is looking a shiteload stronger to me than it ever has before - so with that in mind, do you think they might sell enough weekend tickets not to bother with day tickets this year? Or are you exepecting day tickets as usual nearer the time?

I'm also aware this question doesn't really have an answer, but I'd enjoy hearing your thoughts.

well has there been any year so far they DIDN'T release day tickets at some point? i don't actually know but it seems like they've always done them in the years i've been. 2006 was prety damn strong line-up and i think they still did them then? and i reckon with the amount of different festivals appearing each year, there's still always new ones so still always competition. so i think they will be released eventually.

I really hope there is day tickets, there's only slipknot and limp bizkit that I'm actually arsed about seeing. Can't stand faith no more and don't like whitesnake or def leppard

I think you, me and my friend Paul will be the only people cheering on the lyrical stylings of Fred Durst :/ I sure hope they don't get bottled, coz I'm super excited about seeing them!

i'll still be seeing Limp Bizkit, clashes asides, i think they're ok, and they were amazing at Leeds in 2000, but their time is LONG gone.

Limp Bizkit will be one of the bands of the festival. They won't get bottled.

And it is massively unlikely that'll they won't put day tickets up at some point.

They done Day Tickets last year, And im sure they will do them again this year.

they deffo did day tix in 2006, i only went to the sunday! (damn mate getting married and forcing me to miss tool and 'tallica!! )

They defo sold out all the weekend camping tickets in 06 and still put day tickets on sale and sold out all the saturday day (metallica day) tickets! So me thinks they will def put day tickets on sale at a later point!

I will be amazed if there aren't day tickets. There's always been day tickets! There must be much more space for bodies in the arena than there is in the campsite and it makes no sense to restrict your ticket sales below arena capacity...
