inevitable that oasis were going to be playin as their playin pretty much every other european festival this year. I used to be a big fan but fact is liam can't sing for shit anymore! Still, am sure there will be a drunken singalong or two.

Rest of the line up is lookin pretty awesome, aphex twin, digitalism, jazzanova, and all the rest! can't fookin wait!

Don't get me wrong I think it will be great and I can't wait for it - if last year is anything to go by they will keep adding great acts in the run up. Its just that Oasis live don't tend to deliver the goods but I hope they prove me wrong! I've seen them a few times but the Melt main stage may work well for them.

I'll see you at the diggers!

Hi....i am really thinking about going to this this year, what with no Summercase and Benicassim turning into Reading by the sea Festival.

So, info...flight to Berlin i presume is the best? What´s the camping like? Decent sites etc or a complete nightmare?

Any info much appreciated.

me and my mate are heading there this year..

anybody have any good links for cheap(ish) flights?

i've been looking for a while but the cheapest i can seem to find them for is around £80.

i'm not complaining at that, but would be nice to get them for a little less!

also what's the food and stuff like there?

like fests over here?

Food is better than at most fessies in Germany that size (so I'd guess better than most biggish British fessies as well): a bit less of the basic stuff, but also organic food, a lot of stuff for vegetarians, some local German food. That's at least how it was the last 2 years.

On the camping the options are far more limited, though. Better buy a BBQ and some sausages in a supermarket on your way.

I'm not sure what your closest airports are but £80 seems like a might fine deal for a flight to Berlin if that's return!

The food is fine, slightly better than UK festivals. The bevvy is very expensive though so make sure you stock up en route. I stayed in a hotel last year in Dessau so we ate relatively well. We'll be camping this year so will be stopping off on the way to stock up a coolbox and et a BBQ.

well my closest is either leeds or manchester, having to go down to stanstead i think.. still, shouldn't be a big deal.

is it easy to stop off en route and acquire essentials then?.. once there are you in the middle of nowhere or is there a supermarket nearby?
