Getting There.....

Although we got Sat Nav--- just what is the pozzy re the approach roads to the course? I pictured it being relatively rural (i`m thinking of MTF here)... We obviously coming from the NARTH -- do we actually go through Chelters itself or is the town bypassed?

How far off the main road is it do you think?

I`ve learned now that if the sat Nav says .. 3hrs--I add at least another hour on. I reckon it will be 5 hours for us at least.

What time does the music start?

Any thoughts / info appreciated.

Can't help with your directions cos we're coming from Sarf Eeest (and we do drive through the town), but tis easy to find, once you come off motorway and A road in, from whatever direction you come from will end up at large roundabout (on Evesham Road A435) and you can't miss it once you're there, the exit is pretty much into the Racecourse site.

Music on Friday is from about 6pm.

You've got a choice as far as I can see. You can exit the M% at J9 and drive the more rural route along the A435 through Bishop's Cleeve which is fairly straightforward and avoids the town centre or go down to J10 and take the A4019 to the big roundabout in the middle of Chelters and approach the course from the south.

..yeah,it's the way we've been for the last 3 years...there are a couple of quite sharp(..and flat!)bends to watch out for in the "rural" sections ..but visablity is pretty good through them..so shouldn't be a problem for a "seasoned Motorhomer"!...

It is a pleasant route to approach from...

As you approach the north of the town, you'll see the racecourse is on your left..Just peel in, first exit off the island... <_<

Have you been that way? Is it a good road? Remember Den will be driving what amounts to a house with a wheel at each corner <_<
