Silly me, I only bought my tickets through ticketmaster, rather than one of the alternatives that just issued booking number, the arrangement I used in 2006.

And of course, I'm now fretting because I have no little bit of card to get me in next Friday. Has it been abducted by aliens, swallowed by a snake, or just generally failed to survive the Royal Mail?

I got mine last year through the ticket agency and, you're right, it was a last minute delivery.

HOWEVER, I paid for mine only two weeks ago, direct to the Wychwood Office - and they ain't arrived either. I DID phone young 'Wychwood Office' a few hours ago and was much assured that 2/3 hundred tickets are being sent out TODAY!

All part of the 'laid back festival vibe' everyone buys into, I suppose

When we bought ours a couple of months ago we were impressed with how quickly they arrived. Just saying they are doing OK, not contradicting!

Good news if 2/300 are being sent out, sounds like sales are continuing right up to the event, which can only ensure a successful weekend for all and a good atmosphere.

See you next weekend

That's you AND me watching for the Postman then, Shugie - I'm still confident they'll be in my hands by the weekend.

Ironically, the Larmer Tree tickets (I think you're an LT guy, ain't you) always arrive before I've had time to put the lock back on my credit card!

WORRYINGLY though, Ticketmaster sold the tickets for the FA Cup Semi Final - complete disaster, but for the Final, they were complete Angels!!!!

Got home to find a note from the Postman telling me to pick up an'item' from the Main Post Office.

So, it looks like the tickets have finally arrived - OR, is it the 'poop scoop thingamyjigs' as recommended by MrBlue, that I won - with a late 17p mega-bid on Thieves Bay!!!!!!!!

LT Office, no less, have informed me that the Campervans will now be in the extra large field on the Left as you come in off the 'main' road - where rows and rows of cars are normally parked. Slightly longer walk to get in, up a minor hill, but it should be one helluva' lot roomier. Larmer Tree Campervan Field has been a recipe for disaster the last few years - especially in the pitch black (after a few!)

I'm a mine of useless information me - hope the ticket situation comes good......

...Thursday!!!! You're a lightweight - I'm always there before 12 on the Wednesday, still about 8 or 9 in the queue!! Yep, I think you'll be closer with a tipi - I envy you.

...but not having to hang on til the last minute for Wychwood tickets - that's crap!

Same place as my tickets I guess, postie has been today, and nada ticketwise, hopefully tomorrow, as no post on a Monday

Yes, I will be going to LT this year, but the rumour mill has it that campervans will be consigned to some remote location.

I'd be getting worries now shug  Give the office a ring to confirm they'll let you in with proof of purchase. You don't want to have to buy replacement tickets or even worse get turned away on the gate.

The number is on the official site here.

Ticketmaster should have a record of all tickets they've sold. They will also have a representative on site so if you bring any reference numbers you have, they should be able to say they haven't sent yours out and then we can issue on the day...sorry about the issues with TM...we're as mad as you if it helps!

    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
    • I think it will very much vary on who there is to book who they know will sell out a day.    They’ve co-headline and full headline stuff in future, there no reason at all they won’t do it again, even if it means cutting someone’s set by 15 mins or having a band less in a big bands day…   They’re not going to not book Foo fighters and instead get the equivalent of Florence and C&S just to not have a band do a big set…   …unless of course they think it will make them more money…
    • Maybe some right wing leaders like Meloni are just playing to their base, like Reform have been here talking about them ending up at Calais.
    • Citizenship via investment programs basically work by saying if you invest this much in our economy (say buy a property worth x) then we will either grant you citizenship or residency with a route to it. The EU has rules on how low countries can set the bar. Montenegro was one of the easier ones to get and they've had to tighten it up.
