  1. I'm not reading all that! Happy for you though. Or sorry that happened.
  2. A strike will happen. Lots of events happen across the UK all the time. To say that strikers are targeting any particular event is lazy and facetious.
  3. 2005 was my first Glasto. I loved it. And I've been to every one ever since. So I reckon it'll be ok.
  4. They did say on twitter that they're not playing live, but who knows!?
  5. Well I'd recommend Confidence Man DJ at Stonebridge 1am and The Egg at Glade 130am, but it doesn't work for @MEGATRONICMEATWAGONs timing. Damn! Just noticed that clash!
  6. TBF for the hour after a headliner it's probably better to write off being able to get somewhere, and inside, to see them. I'd plan ahead, get there easily with time to get in what you want to see.
  7. An extra thing C has going for it, is that because it goes through the CV fields, there are a few stalls to get some brekky and hot drinks.
  8. Thanks, this is genuinely helpful. I also didn't know that bronze was public parking. I assumed it was staff / hospitality / special.
  9. You should try Sierra Nevada in Spain. Never been to a warmer sunnier mountain (with enough snow)!
  10. Will the Pennard Hill chair lift be built in time for the fest?
  11. Ta. What time was that? I assume they're not coach arrivals as someone has a wheelbarrow in there. Or do they all get mixed in? Was it queuing out the field too?
  12. They probably thought no publicity is bad publicity, and this at least gives them a bit more R1 exposure.
  13. Not sure why it was so long. Maybe they were keeping the queue back from Pylle Road? Moved quite fast when it did start though.
  14. Got parked in East 8 or 9 at about 6am last year. Back of the queue was about halfway up East 17 when we joined it.
  15. Can't really comment as I've mostly done C. It's usually pretty smooth, but always feels long when you're walking to and from it, and queuing. Did B one year when the car broke down and we had to go via shuttle at Bath and West. Did D one year, 2016, when due to the mud we were re-directed to the west. Never done A, but planning to this year as we want to camp in Wicket. Bit nervous about A as there were some horror stories about the queue from last year and it will also be busy with the coach arrivals.
  16. Glad that mystery is finally cleared up!
  17. Royal Blood certainly felt the cold up there.
  18. It will take you up the light blue car park route. I arrived about 6am last year and was parked in 8 or 9.
