  1. In past years, Silver Hayes has announced mid-April, followed by other individual areas every few days up until the end of May when the full line up with times comes out. I imagine it’ll be the same as that this year, maybe slightly sooner as we’ve paid balances earlier.
  2. They’ve done JP before too, so I think Other is most likely. Fuck it, let em do 1pm on the Pyramid. Maybe headline William’s Green the same night?
  3. Cheers guys. Reckon we’ll go for it if we can get the tickets as soon as they go on sale, £90 for the coach is pretty steep.
  4. We’ve always got the ~2am coach from London in the past, getting us there in time for the gates opening. It’s a pretty tiring way to start the festival though. The current first train from London gets to Castle Cary at 8:45, anyone know how long it’s likely to take us to get to the festival from there? Also, do they add earlier trains nearer the time, or is this it?
  5. Would be very early if he did. You’re right that Sonic makes most sense.
  6. BBC Introducing doesn’t seem right for him, but could easily do Sonic, John Peel, William’s Green, Park…
  7. I’m still annoyed the crowd ruined Beck, he couldn’t have done anything better.
  8. When does this hit most people then? Cos at 32 I think most the stuff I liked as a teenager is pretty shit, most the stuff I liked in my 20s is good but I’ve heard it enough times now, and most the stuff coming out today is rehashed old stuff. Thankfully there’s always bits of new stuff that’s genuinely great and that’s basically all I listen to. And the occasional discovery of something old I’d missed.
  9. But their last album isn’t that at all? That’s the point people are trying to make, they’re not just churning out the same album with a few big singles every couple of years.
