  1. Somebody on Truck forum claiming Jamie T and The Streets are confirmed headliners with Wet Leg on the bill (but this information isn't verified so take with a pinch of salt). Jamie T feels like an obvious choice for Tramlines, even if I'm underwhelmed personally, and Wet Leg scream T'Other Stage headliners to me. Also pretty sure Vistas will be on the bill as they said "we'll be back in Sheffield next year" at their Leadmill show in November. No clue where they'd play now, probably Leadmill stage?
  2. Yeah, sorry that was my guess, no inside information. and I'm with you would be shocking!
  3. Should stress, those 3 are a prediction not a want. I'd have almost zero interest in all 3 as well.
  4. Ticket sales suspended as well. Which they usually do a couple weeks before announcement. Jamie T - Ian Brown - The Libertines
  5. Hopefully this month then. Don't fancy waiting till February!
  6. I read the wording of Slam Dunk's announcement was they had the "exclusive" first show of the reunion rather than the band being exclusively performing only at SD this year.
  7. I'll be surprised if Catfish pop up at a Truck/Tramlines now, must surely see themselves as a higher level and with the reunion hype they probably are.
  8. Jamie T seems a decent shout. Snow Patrol would be alright for the Sunday night. I'm still hoping for Keane or Girls Aloud.
  9. Kasabian on MSE, Foals again after pulling a tiny crowd. Even a "duff" year wouldn't be this bad.
  10. can somebody clue me in on how events like this make money. None of last year's sold out - not even Noel - and ones like self esteem were giving away freebies like sweets. Same looks likely again this year - so where's the money being made here?
  11. I know Tramlines isn't exactly known for its super current headliners, but this would be a real low. Might as well rename it Dad's Festival with a lineup like that. Would need a hell of an undercard, otherwise it'll just be late 30s-early 40s happy.
  12. Catfish almost certainly too big now with the reunion hype, and being R+L headliners (I get it's a weak booking but that's their perceived level right now).
  13. Becky Hill is massively bigger than Self Esteem. Even just Spotify listeners you're looking at 150k vs 16.4m. No idea if her day sells out but Hill is on a whole other level.
  14. Playing a big tent show in Sheffield as well
  15. Massive "I don't like them therefore nobody else does" energy this.
  16. Worth caveating with the fact they're good friends with Capaldi so the whole "doing it as a favour" thing was likely very true.
  17. Liam probably saw 1975 on MSW last year and thought "if it's good enough for Matt Healy, it's good enough for me"
  18. Not a great comparison when one of the acts has been inactive since September 2021. Of course the band that many thought was dead announcing a comeback will get the most interest out of the gate.
  19. Reckon Lana will kick up a fuss about being MSW? She wasn't pleased about being on other stage at Glasto, could she do similar here?
  20. Will be slightly less cool when she's 45 mins late and has to cut all her hits after the stage is shutdown.
  21. Definitely no courteeners. Lytham Festival confirmed as their only Northern show for next summer.
  22. Seems every prediction I see has the wombats playing but I'll be surprised if they're about. Said last year they'd not be touring again next album is out. And lead singer is doing his LFT side project right now with a new album in early 2024. Presume he'll want to tour that first. Maybe new wombats album in mid/late 2024 could be the plan - but wouldn't shock me if they're inactive next year.
  23. Not quite to my tastes. I'm a big landfill indie listener and even I'm "meh" on the Kooks. Would see them if I'm there but not a draw. If there's discounted tickets knocking about again this year, could be tempted. But not a £60-70 line up for me.
  24. Should have moved over to Leeds really but I suspect it was a case of The Academy Group offered them O2 Oxford for the same date and it was just the easiest alternative.
