  1. I've actually had my ID checked before at a Catfish and the Bottlemen gig in 2019. Was a right pain as I'd got the tickets on twickets so name didn't match, had to show the security my order email and basically beg to be let in as they were insisting that strict policy was "no matching ID = no entry". Never happened since mind.
  2. A very good way of thinking about it!
  3. Feeling like I may regret getting two GA standing rather than golden circle tickets with some stuff I've been reading about the potential for a crap view. I think if I'd had more time I'd have stumped up for golden circle but with the Monday rush, and not knowing if this was the only opportunity I'd get for tickets, I just threw the best I could get in my basket and checked out. On the other hand, the £60 saving per ticket is nice when I've just dropped £200+ on tickets for six dates of The Front Bottoms first UK tour in 5 years.
  4. Yeah, it was refusing to work for me too. Managed to get sorted via O2 Priority in the end.
  5. After hearing all these horror stories from the US and assuming dynamic pricing would be in effect, I was worried about paying £150-200 for shite seats.
  6. I paid £110 for GA standing which I think is seriously good value for a Paramore support and a 3+ hour set from arguably the biggest pop star on the planet.
  7. Today is a good day. A very good day.
  8. I'm literally so happy! Planning to do 6 of the 8 shows.
  9. Echo pretty much all of the above. Proper good day, and enjoyed every single artist hugely. Wombats and Vaccines also my highlights but it was four of my favourite bands back-to-back so loved them all. And Baby Queen was an excellent opener that set the tone really well. Sound was sort of crap all day though, and I'm never one to notice that normally so must have been bad. Agree that crowd for Two Door was a little muted but I swear that's always the case at festivals for them. People get up for What You Know and Undercover Martyn then are standing around for the rest mostly. Do have to say the bar/toilet situation was really quite bad. Having the only GA toilets and bars clumped together at the back of the field was a recipe for massive gridlock inbetween bands. Also, not selling poured pints never sits well with me. I can tolerate £6.50 for a beer but hard to swallow when you're paying for a room temp can that would be £5 for 4 in a shop. Nevertheless, I look forward to seeing who they have play under Two Door and Wombats next year, cause I'll be there!
  10. Tricky thing is codes are tied to your account so that person would have to give you their email and password combo as well.
  11. The Sheffield listing was accidentally posted to TicketMaster earlier today (Monday). It was up for a couple hours before being pulled. I found it myself, and can confirm it's legit. Had a countdown for the on sale date (Friday) and a pre sale (Wednesday) and all.
  12. Last year it was pretty smooth. Didn't take more than like 30 mins. Though did funnel us down a pretty long and very dark dirt road which had us fearing they'd sent us the wrong way, but worked out fine in the end.
  13. Definitely, but people aren't always thinking rational when they've got a ticking clock putting pressure on them. I was lucky and got GA standing on Friday which we wanted otherwise I'd have probably waited and tried again. Saw somebody on twitter claim their partner had hastily bought two of the most expensive VIP tickets without thinking, and drained their bank account of the money needed for rent. Was begging for somebody to buy them. Hoping that was a windup and people aren't that irrational over gig tickets.
  14. I think the only thing about the process I maybe dislike is the FOMO aspect of putting tickets up in batches like this. As others have noted today, lots of people today will have got crap tickets for a date/venue they maybe didn't massively want just for fear of not getting anything by end of the week. But on the flip side, doing it this way probably makes it easier on the website servers and gives people multiple chances to get tickets over the next few days, so even that potential sticking point has an argument in its favour.
  15. Agreed. Obviously a bit bais as I got tickets but when there's this level of demand, there's just no way to do things in a way that pleases everybody. Some people are going to be unhappy whatever. In my experience things were smooth as you can hope for today even on TicketMaster where I was 36,000th in the queue and was left ticketless, the process was fine, luck just wasn't with me.
  16. Whelp, that's me £200 poorer after the confirmation. Already curious to know which headliner 1975 will fill in for next year.
  17. Feeling incredibly lucky to have got tickets the first time of asking. Manifesting tickets for all those who didn't in this next batch, you all got this!
  18. The Front Bottoms teasing a "couple of gigs" and TicketMaster has leaked a Sheffield date on Dec 9. So safe to say UK tour is about to be announced. Could put them in the frame for Slam Dunk 2024, as they did R+L 2018 after their Feb 2018 UK tour. Also, on a related note, I have literally shed a tear over the news already 😂
  19. YES! Got em via AXS. 2 x general admission standing for £230, very pleased with that. Would have preferred a Saturday show but hardly going to complain.
  20. 36,317 in front of me on TM, do I win a prize for the highest number?
  21. Not all heroes wear capes. Thank you.
  22. Can't see a waiting room on AXS, just get sent to Taylor's own website. Anybody got a link?
  23. Bit too long for a MSW set, no? Most artists in that slot seem to play around 15 songs. But Id love something like the above. Although, swap Somebody Else for About You.
  24. Good luck to all going for tickets today!
