not BIG, but certainly bigger than Mumford & Sons, compared to previous years.. Plus, when you see that The Strokes, The Killers, Placebo, QOTSA, Muse, RHCP etc... are touring this summer, you can expect wayyy better than Mumford & sons. WHich is NOT a rock act lol.

Lorde / Mumford & Sons / Macklemore ---> 100% I Hate Models / Girl in Red / Loyle Carner ---> 95% Placebo, The Strokes, Turnstile, Ava Max, Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd, Blur, Robin Schulz, Lana del Rey, Lizzo ---> 0% +, NO Rock headliner.... Am I the only one who feel a bit...A LOT disappointed lol...?

Lol if Mumford & Sons is the Rock headliner...... after names like Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Muse, Queens of the stone age ect..in the past years, that would be a big change... 😅 😭

OMG ok I've just check these... so Sziget is trying to spend less money by inviting less artists/bands, and replace them with this kind of ... events. damn....

in the meantime, can someone please tell me what are these 2 events about ? what kind of music etc.. maybe special decorations etc..?

P.S : my (other) biggest bet for a rock act would be Placebo. The 14th or 15th would perfectly fit.

The Strokes are, to me, obvious. Sorry lol. And I'm okay with it, since all others interesting big rock names (GreenDay, My Chemical Romance, Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, Muse, ...) seems impossible this August for different reasons. Yes, The Killers are also possible... but since Leaks told us "no discussion with them" ... he has no reasons to mislead us. I also consider Girl in Red, Macklemore and I Hate Models 90% confirmed thanks to @Sziget2023_Leaks clues. About Lorde and/or Ava Max with " 👑👑 " ... you'll see lol 😁 And finally the last "useless clue" lol because soooo vague : " 🦁 " NONE of us can be 100% affirmative about who that is, honestly.

We can see the enthusiasm, 2 days before the announcement lol... I just hope some of us won't be too disappointed when they'll see the final result, expectations are very high this year ! 😅 Can't imagine how it will be next year for the 30th anniversary... 🙂

It's Girl in red. Thats it. Not Paramore, not The Weeknd ( + I don't see the link between "BLINDING lights" and " 👎💡" ). Even Nelly Furtado with "turn off the light" would make more sense.

And thnks to the other festivals in August, my hopes are Turnstile, Beartooth, The Strokes, Lil Nas X, Rina Sawayama and Placebo. 3 of those 6 and I'd be happy af 😄

(Don't make me come back with Ava Max 31M/month versus Lorde 18M/month lol...and still, I can't imagine one of them headlining Sziget yet.) And about Macklemore , let's say he's a stronh sub-head.. or co-head ^^

He put on a great show in 2019, I have to admit... 🙂 I really thought he would be here for the 2024 edition (30th anniversary of Sziget), same for Martin Garrix... but why not already in 2023, I'd be pleased to see him again 🙂
