  1. I'm somewhat sceptical, i mean, anyone can call themselves "PSInsider". At this point I just wanna kill time. So what about a quick ranking of the best modes of announcements in (recent) PS history? Mine 1. 2016 - The Rocket Launch Video 2. 2015 - The Mobile Game 3. 2020 - Pavement on the cups 4. 2020 - The "Outer Space Communication" Video 5. 2017 - The countdown that jumped ever closer 6. 2020 - The Radio Primavera Sound announcements 7. 2018 - The "Wild West" Video 8. 2023 - The "I'll be your mirror" video (negative points for product placement and the VR-twin nonsense) 100. 2019 - the insufferable life show
  2. After three different sources called it, its also just not something very bold to "leak".
  3. I mean for all we know we could get Pear Jam, they are announcing EU dates soon. Or they got Alanis Morissette. Or even Neil Young. Maybe they went for SOAD. But none of these have any indicatiom for touring in Europe in June and neither do the Strokes
  4. I still think hes way too big, I mean, the only artists in the world that are bigger than him are Taylor Swift anf maybe Beyonce
  5. Yeah i do have a very important ‚budget review‘ scheduled.
  6. I agree being transparent about prices is a fair thing, but 325€ is more of a threat than it is a price. And while incentives to buy early are perfectly fine, the newer trend of halting sales and offering small time-windows at which to buy at a reduced price (or more like the actually calculated average price), is designed to build additional pressure. After all, not everyone is as well informed as people on here, who know that in the worst case, you‘d always be able to buy tix second hand shortly before the fest
  7. Its quite established by now unfourtunately. Ticketmaster does it all the time too. It simulates scarcity so people who‘d not buy under other conditions feel the need to buy tickets for fear of them selling out.
  8. Gabi every year deciding which acts to leak to YunT so the people here are excited enough but the poster still bears surprises
  9. Would be fun if they did not in fact play but still leak the poster
  10. You really dont wanna have a dude screaming white power with your queer and poc crowd as for Troye Sivan, second row seems fine for him, maybe co-headlining a main stage
  11. Am i stupid or has she announced only where shell play but not when? 😄 if those are in june, I‘d say shes in
  12. Well we keep fighting over something every year so lets keep up that tradition I mean, I just can't keep you out of my thread 😁
  13. How is that an opinion? "has a lightweight body of work" and is "mostly just a face for hire" is a factual claim is just not true. She has more than half a dozen albums rated above 3.4 on RYM, way more than most average indie bands. I know it was a thing for us indieheads to disregard pop-singers as sh*t altogether but just as Madonna, Kylie has a rather deep and diverse catalogue. I'm not saying you have to like her - I'm not what would be called a fan myself - but rather acknowledge that disliking her does not equal to her music being sh*t.
  14. Sorry but thats BS. She has an acclaimed discography outside of her stardom.
  15. I mean for 2022 you were accurate with many things, but not all 😄 Incidentally I had a dream the other night about American Football being there.
  16. isn't there an official resale through dice once its sold out?
  17. I agree that there are no tourdates and hence it doesn't make sense to discuss her as a concrete option, but just generally she would of course be a great fit. She is a disco-pop icon, which is one of the most flourishing subgenres of the current moment and she'd be the perfect culmination of a disco pop day with, say, Jessie Ware and Roisin Murphy. Tool would way more of an outlier than she'd be.
  18. I really don't understand your point. What do you mean what form?
  19. Don't forget Tom Skinner in this equation. He sure isn't such a household name, but he is very well known in the vibrant jazz szene that has spilled over into the "indie-mainstream" in recent years so he probably fuses a lot of people into this project compared to only people who are Radiohead fans anyways.
  20. why? I mean, currently there are no indications, but it would absolutely be possible. She has played much smaller fests than PS, I saw her at MELT in 2015 headlining alongside Alt-J and London Grammar
  21. it was a joke because Tool were fanatically discussed here, despite being a completele weird fit
