  1. Tuesday 10 O'clock it is. The Website now shows a countdown. Incidentally, Northside (one week after PS) in relaunching their website and starting ticket sales a day prior, they will probably wait for the same act that PS is waiting for
  2. Saw him at a boutique fest in Germany one, spent most of his gig complaining about the horrible sound and how he couldn't work like that. He wasn't wrong though
  3. If they wanted ro hint at anything they wouldnt use the most random everyday phrase
  4. But money can‘t be the factor if she is skipping millions in stadium shows, an amount she could never realise at a European fest, as you implied yourself. in terms of exposure - which she Absolutely doesnt need - Glastonbury would be superior to PS
  5. And tbh, they can devote an entire day at Mordor to Reggaeton as long as there is good pop, post-punk, hardcore, indie, techno, bulgarian throat singing, artrock, emo or ambient everywhere else
  6. 2022 had the huge advantage of 2 years of built up excitement and savings, 2023 had the huge disadvantage of mounting inflation. also that claim is simply false. 2022 had 460k visitors across both weekends, 2023 had 253k for one (ps counts attendance for each day individually).
  7. I mean she makes 11-12 million off of a single gig. Make that half for Europe and you‘re still at one third of not the booking budget but PSs entire turnover from Ticket sales. Why would they pay such absurd fees if they can sell enough Tickets with far lower investments
  8. Yeah what are people going on about a 7 day gap? She has two off days between Madrid and Lyon, no production her size is gonna do three cities in four days
  9. I mean its sorta what happens with early birds every year with prior access to Ticket holders from the current Edition
  10. What do you mean with „breaking silence“? I mean he has been playing live for the entire year
  11. Its just marketing, there is no inherent meaning in it besides maybe teasing this years theme
  12. There was. It had the woman walking up to the Cupra and look at her reflection in the window. the announcement video then picked up there to show her digital twin and they were racing with a voice announcing the line up over that. „youre not ready for this“ clearly refers to the bar prices
  13. Which is pure coincidence. Why would PS 2024 wanna look exactly like WE1 2022 or 2018? If there even is a Nick Cave tour which there are zero indicators for as of now
  14. Yeah, festivals typically have a radius clause in their contract so a band can't play other festivals or shows in a given radius for a given time
  15. So whatever is happening today, lets do a final recap of what we know Very Likely/to be confirmed Bikini Kill - obvious tourgap, owe a return after cancelling 2022 PJ Harvey - plays Bergenfest two weeks after PS, last time 2016 Pulp - play Athens in June, very good connections to PS likely - concrete indication Cherry Glazer - play Europe in June Hurray for the Riff Raff - Europe Tour ends late may w/o Spain dates Jane's Addiction - play Nova Rock Kali Uchis - plays Roskilde - last time 2019 Mitski - Europe tour ends on PS Thursday, no Spain dates. Production might be unfit for a festival though Tainy - plays Roskilde, was supposed to be at PS 2021 The National - Very fitting tourgap but were at PS only two years ago probable - fitting and playing Europe in June The Armed - Roskilde Bane - Jera on Air Bob Vylan - Jera on Air Brutus - Hellfest The Darkness - Bergenfest Escuela Grind - Copenhell Fontaines DC - Bergenfest Fu Manchu - Copenhell Gel - Download Georgia - Bergenfest High vis - Hurricane/Southside Jungle - Hurricane/Southside La Dispute - Rock for People Live.e - Roskilde Mandy, Indiana - Roskilde Pest control - Download Scowl - Download Speed - Download The Walkmen - playing "select festivals", excellent PS connection Zulu - Download possible - name pops up but too far from PS to make it a rumour Dua Lipa - play NOS Alive, Open'er and Werchter, more likely Mad Cool LCD Soundsystem - Festival Beauregard ruled out Nine Inch Nails - not active due to family Queens of the Stone Age - Gabi says no The Smashing Pumpkins - Gabi says no Tool - UK dates during PS Weezer - Gabi says no
  16. Tomorrow Morning, Gabi will go for a run at Barceloneta, not understanding the frenzy he set this place in
  17. I think it was never days between teaser and line up, right? remember the 2016 Rocket, the 2018 western and 2019 live show to be teased the evening before. Not sure about 2020 and 2023 anymore
  18. Kevin Shields solo would be so cool, although he‘d probably need to start setting up gear around now to be somewhat happy with it come June
  19. As cool as that would be, it would be very hard to pull off. The only reason it worked in 2019 was that there were only 5 pavement cups. When there are more, it would all leak through someone in the production process
  20. Last time they played continental Europe was in 2016 (4 dates) and before that in 2010 (2). At Nova Rock they might even be pushed further down, that line up isn‘t complete yet. It might also prop them up that its their first Austrian gig in 33(!) years
  21. The Mayor of Munich just leaked AC/DC concerts in the city in June - they might be contenders here
  22. I would say they could be third on a weaker day, but would expect them in the second row. They are a very exclusive name but they really are more influential than they are famous, especially in Europe
  23. Monday Teaser, Wednesday Line up would seem feaseble, but in the end its probably down to a specific act announcing a tour. If thats the case, they would have to do it later. i mean, no reason Gabi couldn’t be in Bogota for the line up release, no? Bcn has its own communications team that can handle the major part of it
  24. yeah so likely before that! that could mean a lot. I mean they spontaneously would not realise a 75% congruence amongst all acts but would probably make the headliners their reference point. And of those, many are relatively certain anyways and others have been discussed a lot in this thread (might even be one of the bases of its creation). Even if its 7/9 headliners predicted correctly, I'm most excited for the two it doesn't predict.
  25. Average Godspeed You! Black Emperor Setlist
