  1. Any idea who might be the last headliner? I guess Prodigy/PWD would fit but not sure anymore after The 1975 announcement
  2. It's subjective. I take RAR/RIP lineup over GMM personally 🙂
  3. I think it's also related to the fact that there's incredibly high demand for live shows in the US/UK post-Covid (see Taylor tour, R&L record breaking sales, etc.). It's quite different in the continental Europe though...
  4. I don't think Slipknot is one of the missing names. No reason to keep them out form the announcement, plus they would need to start tour one week earlier. It also doesn't fit the pattern you mention as their shows are June 20 & 21, DE show for headliners is typically in between/next to RaR/RiP days, this was the case for Green Day and others.
  5. They have alphabet posts on FB asking fans to share predictions. And they went A,B,C,D,E,F, O 🙂
  6. I am glad to see a lot of enthusiasm about Stromae, not my cup of tea but I would be happy to watch him. My issue is with overall headliner combo rumoured - if AM and Muse are confirmed it leaves just one slot for open for something interesting. This I reckon will be a key factor for me if I am in
  7. I wouldn't bet on that, Ted D are very niche in Czechia tbh. I guess Papa Roach, Yungblud and Fever are much more likely
  8. Underwhelming, indeed. I would add Foo Fighters among the #4 head contenders, IF they tour.
  9. With NR announced already, I wonder what the overlap with RfP will be? I can see Papa Roach, PWD, Yungblud, Fever 333 and I Prevail being here. Headliners are very German centric and Slipknot is perhaps too big a name for RfP?
  10. The festival will take place on June 8-10 in Park 360, Hradec Kralove. They are teasing something on social media, perhaps the first announcement for Wednesday? I am quite curious to see who will play as a follow-up to Hella Mega lineup last year, my guess is MCR / Paramore / Prodigy for headliners, Billy Talent / Architects / Yungblud for subs. I think PATD or Blink would be a perfect fit but not sure if they tour next summer.
  11. Instant buy for me, but I reckon too good lineup-wise to be true. One comment though - DM will be the headliner of the day, I can't see them playing 2nd down.
  12. GD will go for the closing headline slot on the strength of Hella Mega tour, which made them a proven stadium act. Same position as ID/RHCP this year. Whether they tour in 23 (unlikely imho) and will be offered the slot is a different question, but from my pov they put on the very quality show, comparable to this year's headliners so I will be very happy personally to see them headlining.
  13. Btw, big thanks to this great community! Super helpful and very responsive to any questions. It defo contributed to my great experience at the festival. Thank you all
  14. My top 5 were Pearl Jam, Black Pumas, Idles, Leon Bridges and The Killers. And special shouts to Metallica who always delivers and RHCP who were in terrific shape. I am not a fan of their live performances but they were very very good yesterday. Last but not least, I loved the Slope stage. By far the most interesting/diverse lineup for me, with great vibe and fantastic sets - The Chats and Grandson fantastic, Jehnny Beth covering Closer was a killer 😉 Great festival overall, but still not sure if I come back next year as logistics is a bit complicated for me and it's by far the most expensive fest I've been to... But I am tempted
  15. The same system is being used for RaR/RiP. Very comfy, safe and practical indeed
  16. What are the typical waiting times for buses to Leuven on Monday morning? I have a plane to catch, so any insight appreciated! Thanks
  17. Thanks! Yeah, it's weird. I forgot mine in the camp today, hence the question. Eventually I found out you can desinfect your hands at medics tent 😉
  18. Just wonder - are there any places with desinfection/working soap containers in the festival arena?
  19. Turnstile were great plus it was a lot of fun to watch reactions of the crowd in the beginning of their set 🙂 Lars was OK imho but they put him on purpose a bit behind in the mix plus changed a few arrangements to make some sections easier to play. I am not a drummer myself but it sounds like that to me here and there during the set, especially when tempo changes drastically. Btw, band was much tighter and better sounding than in Prague week ago, Kirk pretty much stole this one.
  20. I've asked at merch shop and was told they don't have anything with lineup. But merch is quite a chaos, so might be wrong. Having said that, I haven't seen any T-shirt like that
  21. I see your point and very happy for you but I am still on a fence tbh. I dislike the hangars, tents are imho much better with a natural spillover and better crowd management. This is a big thumb down for me. Prices for food/drinks are insane, plus the selection is underwhelming at best. Lineup is great but I miss the small, up and coming bands which is the main reason for me coming to other UK/EU fests. Still to early to say, it may (and likely will) grow on me but I am not sure if I am coming back next year
  22. Metallica merch on sale at the festival, so the hope is still on I reckon...
  23. It might be related to the recent tour bus crisis leading to many cancellations recently. E.g. Sum 41 wanted to cancel Rock for People for exactly same reason. Keeping fingers crossed this is the case, Turnstile are high on my list.
  24. Last min lineup updates: - Wet Leg, Eyes Set To Kill, Kid Brunswick, Diamante, Sophie And the Giants, Slothrust, Sundara Karma cancelled - Masked Wolf, Skindred, Hacktivist, Frank Zummo (drummer Sum 41 - solo show), The Stickmen Project, Cassyette, Eyelar, Lenka Dusilová solo, 7krát3 & Igor Ochepovsky, Redzed, Lazer Viking, DOMI, Lighthouse Keeper, Cigarette Syndrome added Masked Wolf & Skindred are apparently the missing subs
