  1. + Against the Current + Hannabie. Announced via calendar over the weekend.
  2. Hive Resort indeed sells out first but it's not an instant sellout. I bought mine in late Jan for 22 edition. Cheers!
  3. I see your point, we are not in principal disagreement. Just bringing a number perspective - their Spotify numbers are equal Avril, 10x bigger than PWD and 1,5x bigger than BMTH. I understand that term 'big' is subjective but I guess their Spotify number put them pretty close 😉 Anyway, I am looking forward to undercards, they are always much more interesting bunch than headliners. Today's announcement of EOST is brilliant!
  4. Yeah, I get your point, 2016 was a night to remember, indeed 😀 I saw them several times since and they got much better, mostly thanks to the extra musicians who play in the background with them. I dare to hope it will be better than 2016
  5. Why? They played last time in 2016 and it's a different name from the other rock oriented early June festivals. I think they will go down quite well with the crowd. Don't get me wrong, I would love Radiohead/Tool or something similar but this season looks quite dire for June festivals, so this is a good start imho. And hey, still 23 names to go 😉
  6. Hotel is my preferred accommodation option too, so we are in the same boat. I'am regularly going to Reading festival, Rock im Park, Rock for People and Sziget, all are held in town and easily accessible. I reckon InMusic works the same as it's in Zagreb but I haven't attended it. Cheers!
  7. From Prima Pro mailing, just received. Sorry if it was posted already 😉
  8. Very valid and interesting point. I guess some festivals got trapped in the middle, trying to appeal to too many audiences, reducing their appeal in the end. To be fair, it seems to be affecting 'old' festivals who try to attract younger people but still book traditional/rock headliners to top the bill With Flow, I ended up there for Blur day as this was the only date of their 23 run which suited me. It was ok day, as I managed to catch Caroline Polatchek, High Vis and Sudan Archives, but fully got your point. Blur was the only reason for me coming there, and them not playing at Werchter made me skip 23 😀 I would be very happy with them playing 24 but I doubt it
  9. Blur day wasn't sold out at Flow festival either, while Lorde managed it for her day. As much as I love Blur, their commercial appeal is decreasing I am afraid. My only hope is that Dua and FF are strong enough pull by themselves.
  10. Excellent headliners for my tastes so far. It's great to get a fresh set of headliner, as repetition made me skip last year. Can't wait to 24!
  11. It's pretty likely, although I wouldn't rule out GD/BT/Broilers run on main and EC/BO/BM on second.
  12. Nova is a great festival but it's in the middle of corn fields. I can't speak for camping site as there might be some extra activities, but the arena has nothing extra apart from stages, food/drinks stalls and some basic attractions (karaoke, ferris wheel, merch). That's the reason why I stayed in Bratislava. If you fancy extra activities, RfP has much broader offering (e.g. theatre, dance, yoga, sports, etc.) on site plus you can always go to the city. A lot of names to be announced there still, I am sure many Nova acts will be shared. Both are great festivals, you won't go wrong with any of them. Feel free to DM me if you need further info. Cheers!
  13. I did it always by car, stayed in Bratislava and drove there and back every day. It's doable, ±45 mins each way. As an alternative, you may consider Rock for People instead if you wish to see PWD, BMTH, Pendulum. It's much easier logistics-wise if you are driving (RfP is next to the large city while Nova is in the middle of nowhere). Just a thought 😉
  14. Every year is different, look at Nova or RaR/RiP - last year they were super late with announcements, but this year they took a different approach and announced majority/all acts super early. RaR/RiP announcing the whole lineup is a bit shocking tbh, I am quite curious how it's going to work for them. It's my favorite festival but last year's attendance was much smaller despite great lineup, at least for my tastes. They even ran 30% discount campaign... RfP is quite consistent with their announcements, as they have first batch of the names Sep/Oct, followed by advent calendar with 24 names in December. I don't think their key audience are efest readers so they stick to what their fans love 😉 Regarding the names, I don't think they will announce Posty. I would personally love that but he's nowhere around. Perhaps they share someone with Prima which is announcing late Nov? We will see in a month but I am looking forward to the festival nonetheless, I always enjoy the smaller names the most and RfP doesn't disappoint in that.
  15. The lineup is stacked but repeats are crazy. A lot of bands return after 1 year gap, PWD and Sum are back to back 23-24. I am quite curious where it's heading...
  16. Unpopular opinion - Maneskin would be a great headliner. Definitely a stretch for the band but they are the only fresh big rock act nowadays, relevant for young audience and a very good live act. I take them over any of the usual ones, which I love but seen zillion times.
  17. Seems like more names are coming 😉
  18. Well, I wouldn't hold my breath for A7X as they don't shift tickets in Czechia. Last time they played they struggled to sell 3K. GD is a possibility but I doubt it as they were there in 2022 so it may be too early. Smashing Pumpkins are around, as well as QOTSA. From Hu/So line up, I wouldn't be surprised if The Offspring show up as last time they played in 2016 and they have a good relationship with festival. Personally, I would enjoy Avril Lavigne 😉
  19. Maybe, but A7X are among the smaller headliners imo. I don't see them having such a bargaining power to delay the announcement. Anyway, we will see soon 😉
  20. Same headliner as RaR/RiP holding back the announcement I guess
  21. Any chances for TV on the Radio? It's going to be 20 years since their first album
  22. Fine with me 🙂 Imho too early for PJ though, no signs of EU tour in 24
  23. There are may accommodation options - basic camping (pretty good compared to may other festivals I've been to), glamping incl. pre-pitched tents, hotel packages, etc. The tickets for these should go on sale in next few weeks.
  24. You mean to make RfP a copy of Hu/So? 😉 I am sure booking team can do better and book something more diverse/interesting (no criticism to Hu/So, I am sure it's a great festival but with a slightly different audience I guess).
