  1. Really curious about the amount of tickets sold for that Sunday.

    2024 Headliners

Nah. Kylie would be disappointing. SZA would bring something new to the table.
  3. New song is a tune. Love it. Happy Cave sounds less weird as I thought it would've. Let's get this man to play Glastonbury 25. It's been way too long.
  4. SZA yep Dua probably Coldplay nope for me.
  5. + Gunna + Kim Gordon + Amaarae + Tom Morello + Tinashe Again some strong additions here.

    2024 Headliners

So now we have these as our main contenders so far? Dua Lipa - Coldplay - SZA The National - Shania Twain - Pulp Liam G. & John S. - Janelle Monae - The Smile
  7. Great names in the two tents that day. The main stage is a big meh though. Not feeling that Greta/Lenny ending myself.
  8. The thing is, a possible Other headlining set has the potential to become one for the books. I've said it before: the band is playing the best shows of their career now. If only Glasto dunks this opportunity in the basket. Another possible clash would be The Smile vs The National though...
  9. They’re playing the best shows of their now, last year’s tour has been amazing. If they actually headline that Other stage, I will be amazing.
  10. Exactly. Claiming this is not a big hit is mental.
  11. Hardly a mega hit? Just fell from my chair here. You hear it constantly, literally everywhere. Drives me nuts, because I used to like that song.
  12. Believe me, this is going to be another mega hit. But hopefully not played to death like Dance The Night and Houdini. Can't turn on a radio, walk into a mall without hearing these at least once.
  13. Dream modus: Young Fathers closing one night at the Slope. That would be epic.
  14. Queuing for The Smile while Offspring is on the main stage turns out to be a best case scenario for me. Now if only Peggy Gou plays Dance Hall during The Smile so I won't miss out on something there, that would seal the deal.
  15. Saw Radiohead both in arenas and festivals and their festival sets were all much much better. Rock Werchter 2017, Lolla Berlin 2016 and NOS Alive 2016 were magical. Great crowds too. Their indoor show in 2012 was also fun but not on the same level as these festival shows.
  16. Funny, it’s the lineup of the year for me, really.
  17. Hopefully with ticket info then. But over the moon with the current names. QOTSA, The Smile, Jorja, Soulwax, Denzel Curry are must-sees so far.
  18. Yeah true. The Doja Cat day is pretty strong overall through. 21 Savage and Sam Smith are also playing that day, and so are the likes of AIR, Modeselektor, Sampha and Slowdive.
  19. This lineup is getting crazy. They even need to announce another headliner, plus the Dua Lipa is the only main stage name announced for her day.

    2024 New Music

Man, The Smile album is fire.
  21. The Barn headliner on Thursday (Janes Addiction) is also really small for such a spot. That day is never, ever going to sell out. Finally the official message about the sold out Saturday though.
  22. Four Tet too. Was thinking this was finally going to be the year for him to make his debut at RW.
  23. Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, Blur, No Doubt are good headliners. I'd also see Kevin Abstract, Black Country, New Road, Deftones, Brittany Howard, Young Fathers, Orbital, Bar Italia, Lil Yachty, The Last Dinner Party, Mdou Moctar and Oneothrix Point Never. But that Sunday... is rough...
  24. Yeah, that one will never be beaten of course. But if that Saturday sells out this week, it will be the fastest RW that day sold out ever too.
  25. The Houdini that is played on the radio every single day? And Dance The Night was everywhere too, one of the biggest songs of 2023. And it's hard to know what the future brings. All we know is that she's around since 2016 (so 8 years) and she's only gotten more popular since then. And we also know she's selling out her Saturday faster than anyone else who played that day, including Muse (2023), Imagine Dragons + 21 Pilots (2022), Mumfords + Florence (2019), Pearl Jam + Jack White (2018) and Linkin Park + SOAD + Blink 182 (2017)...
