Jeez, that Standon Calling line-up is awful. It's like a Camp Bestival announcement. Madness, Primal Scream, Craig David, Sugababes, Earth Wind and Fire, Gabrielle, Bjorn Again??? What decade are the bookers living in? Mind you, I'm not sure that Bluedot is much better but at least it has a bit of credibility about it.

Sam Fender is headlining Tramlines Festival on the Friday night and then headlining Truck Festival on the Saturday night. Not saying he is unable to play three nights in a row but very few headline acts do. For this reason, I can't see Sam Fender being at Latitude 2022.

Any idea how many names we are likely to get in the next Sziget announcement @Sziget2022_Leaks?

Pretty strong announcement imho. Loads of names on there I'd happily watch. A dozen acts played at both festivals in 2019 so we might get a handful. Would be very happy if Sziget got some of the noisier acts on there like Liam, Sam Fender and Fever 333. Fred again.., Glass Animals, Tash Sultana, Wet Leg, The Lathums and Yard Act would also all be very welcome.

Think they're nailed on for both judging by the rumour mill.

If they do decide to dip their toe into having a hard rock headliner I can think of an least a dozen names I'd prefer above Slipknot.

Mogwai and Bjork are the two main reasons we would attend but I'm left completely uninspired by the rest.

Metronomy must be over the moon that someone considers them to be headline-sized.

Does anyone have any idea why Bluedot and Truck are both announcing at 6pm today? Seem very different festivals and all the headliners have been announced for Truck already. Maybe just a coincidence but unlikely.

Guessing one of the Saturday headliners is Bombay Bicycle Club? Or something daft like The Kooks and The Wombats?

I knew Tramlines was the same weekend but didn't realise Bluedot was. And guess what? They're announcing Tuesday too.

Same weekend as Latitude and they're on announcement number two! Worth keeping an eye on as there will undoubtedly be some overlap.

Would it be a huge book? Is she still big enough to headline? She doesn't seem to have bothered the charts in the past decade or so. In my view (only) she's no longer big enough to headline but too big to support, which puts her in a bit of limbo, although the timing sits perfectly for Sziget with her being in UK from 2 to 6 August. I may well be wrong about her status, she might still be huge across Europe and it's passed me by. I guess if she's booked it could really only be as a headliner (or co-head with someone bigger like 21P and Foos in 2019). Christina and Lady Gaga for battle of the divas?

'He' definitely has, as they gave out clues in the days before the 23 November announcement. However, all that was lost when the forums went down over Christmas and new year. That said, they might not have been on since then!

Almost ten weeks since the last announcement. Any upcoming news @Sziget2022_Leaks? I'm starting to get bored of my Sziget 2022 playlist! Needs some new acts on there. That said, I've 'discovered' Little Simz and really enjoying her most recent album, but a lot of the lesser-known acts aren't really doing it for me and there's only so much KOL I can listen to!

Would love all of those except Imagine Dragons. I'd be horrified if they appeared as it would undoubtedly be as headliner and that would be a major waste of a headline slot.

Actually, that week commences on 14 Feb 😉 Dre, Eminem, Kendrick etc play the Superbowl the day before so potential for announcement of a mega-signing?
