Late to the party clearly but just been reading up on the Noname/ Jay Electronica antisemitism controversy and its put me off going to see her quite a bit. When you read the analysis of what he's referencing in his verse it's awful. And her defending of it makes her sound stupid at best and complicit at worst.

I remember he came out moaning about the heat and told people to stop dancing cus its too hot for it. I just thought it was hilarious 🙂 We agree on Joesef though he was brilliant as well. Lonely Hearts Club is building up to be one of my fave stages as time goes on.

I think it's worth noting that a lot of peoples afternoon/evening concerns could easily be alleviated as the line ups fill out. The only stage we can get a full handle on timings is West Holts atm.

Dunno if he's been mentioned but Jelani Blackman is on Nowhere. Don't love all his stuff but he's good. Has a song with Bob Vylan as well.

Not the first time I've read this but I thought he was fantastic. Really funny and personable between songs and has a confidence that doesn't rely on his audience to feed. Helps for me that every album he brings out is wall to wall just brilliant.

Fontaines and Jungle my main one, saw Fontaines in 22 though so will go for a dance at WH instead. Though part of me wonders, if they can do it, if they'll move Fontaines to Saturday to help with that Idles clash.

I feel like all the names that do ring a bell are just ones I remember reading from last year. Obvs Bob Vylan, Knee Cap and Lister are the ones I know. This is a comment on me btw, not the line up.

Was gonna do a poll but your opinion may obviously change as things develop. For me its neck and neck between West Holts and Park with 6 acts each. Last place is probably Avalon though Acoustic doesn't have much for me either. You?

Just had the thought that its funny the acoustic tent uses a circus aesthetic for their poster when the festival also has a circus area.
