I wouldn't be surpsied if they came back next year. The killers did a secret set in 2017 then came back to headline at the next Glasto in 2019.

I think the lineup is fine (neither terrible or amazing), but it doesn't seem to be targeting the RW crowd at all (from my visits, men 30+ on the Jupiler)

I saw them in the barn years ago... I can't see their show translating well to daylight. Are the later albums worth a listen? I've only heard the first two.

Given they seem nailed on for Glastonbury.... Guns N Roses as the missing headliner? Or Billie Eilish given she was booked in 2020. For the Saturday, maybe they'll finally land the strokes?

I can't work this one out. Logically it's Lizzo, but it's literally a Juicebox, which is a strokes song, who love a payday and won't hold a grudge against mad cool for 2020 provided they let them headline and pay them handsomely.

I'm assuming if RHCP are still in Europe mid July then they will be at Mad cool, they were previously booked for the 2021 edition.

I get that completely, but the for the organisers, their role is to sell out the next edition, not to future proof. Download Festival has the same problem (with a much smaller headliner pool), there will always be new acts, but proven ticket sellers (basically, every band you listed) will always get booked.

Rock Werchter I feel is at its best when they book the big rock acts to headline, but there is variety across the day. I vividly remember seeing Metallica and Nine Inch Nails, with the undercard being Kaiser Chiefs, Black Eyed Peas and The Mars Volta. The variety is what makes it, more than often they hit their mark.
