  1. I think they're more likely to take other bookings than take a lesser slot. I can't think of anywhere they haven't headlined since 2009.
  2. From your list I would rule out the national, Avril, ed Sheeran, gaslight anthem and smashing pumpkins due to their other dates making it unlikely they would play 3/4 days in a row in different countries. Kings of Leon have announced their first date, UK in July.
  3. Haha no problem, I would take your chances with standing, I've been in the unreserved seats before and they aren't great!
  4. 85 which is regular standing or unreserved seating. The front standing were £110. You're allowed to be bitter, i paid the same for the Hella mega tour. I also signed up for the gigsandtours presale. As I've got tickets this morning if you want my code for that (presale is tomorrow) just let me know!
  5. I had similar, ended up with normal standing, would have paid the extra for front standing but Ticketmaster deciding it needed a password reset scuppered those plans! Happy to be going though, same price as foo fighters with a decent sized support.
  6. Did anyone by chance see the greenday dates this morning on Ticketmaster? Apparently there were more dates going into early July?
  7. Fairly sure Ed is a festival exclusive to Hurricane/Southside?
  8. I will never understand the download exclusive logic. They could feasibly book both green Day and foos provided they get their own tour dates in, and sell the festival out. It's a win for everyone. The alternative is foos are playing in the UK on download weekend and punters may opt for their show over download.
  9. On the tour this year foos played in the US, then did rock am ring/ rock I'm park 3 days later. I'm more confident they'll do rock werchter, but could see them playing mad cool/ alive, as they're unable to play a lot of the other big euro fests due to their UK dates throughout June.
  10. Food could easily play mad cool on the 10th and alive on the 12th. Looking at their 2023 tour they went between Europe and the US in June, so it's definitely doable given they are touring the UK in June then doing festivals (Hellfest) from end of June onwards.
  11. Without trawling, why is everyone certain about qotsa and fall out boy?I would happily watch both but they are acts that are popular in their own circles, but not relevant outside of their own fan base.
  12. Having seen blink 182, if they're about next summer they're headlining. The reunion hype has made them bigger than they were at their peak.
  13. What have I missed, Rammstein and Maiden are both due to tour next summer?
  14. I could definitely see a BMTH/Blink 182 day at Werchter, given how well their day in 2017, and the reunion hype. I would love to see National but not sure they're suited as a main stage headliner.
  15. I would think BMTH are unlikely for graspop as they are playing in Germany twice on the graspop weekend.
  16. Rock am ring are announcing on 2nd November, imagine download won't be far behind...
  17. Can anyone point me in the direction for Muse tickets?
  18. A punt or insider knowledge... I would be reserving a hotel for that!
  19. I'm selling two tickets for Turnstile in Manchester next Wednesday if anyone is interested?
  20. Yep, anything to screw a few extra quid. I'm glad seetickets don't do dynamic pricing but this is what happens when the government doesn't regulate the pricing.
  21. They headlined rock am ring this year, mad cool last year, I imagine they would headline but they very much are a nostalgia act (and I'm a big fan) Are the strokes ever coming back after the covid year?

    2024 Headliners

I went to the Hella Mega shows, and was least fussed about Green day (big fan of FOB and Weezer). Within 10 mins of them coming on stage, it was clear they were band of the night, and by only having a 90 min set (short by Green day's standards), it was a hit parade. They would be a great booking for Glasto!
  23. I never understand this logic with bookers. When bands are big enough that they can sell out six stadium dates on the day, them playing download as well is not taking anything away from the festival.
  24. Nail on the head. I scoffed at the idea when this got announced last year, but genuinely love how much they all clearly love the music of the smiths and are celebrating it.
