    Back again from 2019 after missing out on Glasto2020/2022 ticket sale. Got to the payment screen twice and it timed out and was fully admitting defeat, until in the 11th hour one of our group finally got through. Buzzing is an understatement and I can finally return to trawling to glasto chat forums in my spare time.

    From my memory of it, scout tents were a piece of piss but bell tents and podpads were gone quickly. Mind you most of these are now in Sticklinch so you should be fine.

    Half and half, all 6 of us were manually refreshing every 2-5s with another device left alone. Believe it was someone's device that was left alone that came through for us with tickets (after the sold out message), however 3 of us got through to the payment screen prior through manual refreshing.

    Wtf, they were £44 in 2017. Outbreak & 2000 trees are just above £100 for a weekend of music.

    Day 2/4 today. I really do like this festival, I mean atrociously over commercialised but they always seem to nail the holy trinity of: a quality lineup + good quality beer + last min cheap tickets.

    For Soul/R&B: H.E.R., Koffee, Tora-i, Lola Young For Hip Hop: ENNY, Freddie Gibbs, Channel Tres For Dance/House: Franky Wah, Mura Masa, Joy Anonymous For James Blake-y vibes Wesley Joseph, Lil Silva A lot of crossover with the genres but this gives you an idea.

    So after winning the Luno competition (pod thing on the Gorillaz day), I can confirm they sent me TWO VIP view tickets for Nick Cave next Sunday. Unreal.

    There's one as you enter east stage and one as you enter West stage. I did the West stage one.

    So watched some people doing it and they've made it a lot harder now, fewer prizes and more duds. Still recommend giving it a go if you arrive early.

    Yeah that one. I did it abt 4:30pm? Whilst Newdad where playing on West. The 6 people in front of me all won VIP tickets as well so I think they panicked and said no more after a certain time.

    There are dogs and I had my bag looked through, should be able to hide a drinks pouch/plastic bottle of spirits wrapped in a jumper (what I did at Prima). Maybe spot out the more lenient security as you're walking up.

    I strongly recommend doing the Luno competition while you're here. Just won VIP tickets to a day of my choice next week (I chose Nick Cave)! Everyone before me won as well lol.
