Think they've made announcements during Feb Half-term in the past but likely there will be something next week I reckon.

Solid mid-late afternoon Park stage act
-
Yeah Blondie will be mid afternoon on Pyramid no later.
-
They've already done Friday other opener in 2015. Imagine it will be early afternoon on Pyramid this time.

Was bored so looked up the number of acts released at this point since 2013. Expecting a new name or two very soon. As of 16-Feb 2013: 0 2014: 1 2015: 1 2016: 2 2017: 2 2019: 3 2020: 4 2022: 4 2023: 1 As of 1-Mar 2013: 9 2014: 2 2015: 2 2016: 4 2017: 3 2019: 3 2020: 4 2022: 4 2023: ?

Couldn't pay me to be at one of those Live Nation Finsbury Park gigs. Saw QOTSA there back in 2018 and the organisation was terrible. Understaffed, constant sound/tech issues the whole day, massive queues for bars across site, 2 water points on site in the middle of a heat wave. Worst festival/outdoor gig I've ever experienced.

Only due to backlash, Axl Rose is unapologetically racist & homophobic.
-
It's 2023 and this band is headlining Glastonbury
-
1 month to go then
-
2019 it was early March as well iirc
-
2019 was last time I went, solid year for metal (for Glasto anyway). Gojira were ace on the Truth stage and the likes of Employed to Serve & Venom prison were solid bookings as well. Nova Twins & Pigs x7 prob the only metal last year. Like a bit more this year.

Friday - Kali Uchis > NxWorries > Fred Again Sat - Rina Sawayama > Denzel Curry > The Prodigy Sun - UMO > Pusha T > Nas
-
Gutted, missed out
-
Definitely not OS headliner but possibly a spot similar to Babymetal when they played
-
You mean Josh Homme didn't post about 15 pictures of himself on the same day thanking his fans?? 😲
-
Looks like a fake account pretending to be Josh Homme.

Lizzo looked great on TV although I was doing hip hop karaoke at Stonebridge bar. If any of you saw a very sunburned and dehydrated white guy in a straw hat rapping Swimming Pools that was me.
-
I think it's coincidence rather than anything. It's an arena tour, would seems strange to play Glastonbury but no other festival. Also there are several 4-5 day gaps in their schedule.
-
I do agree it's not shit. It's very shit.
-
I remember saying after seeing them at Slam Dunk a few years ago that I'd happily pay £50 to see them again. They've only got better since then and they are incredible at their own concerts. £40 is a steal.

Fri: Pyramid all day, maybe Loyle Carner instead of AM Sat: Jpegmafia > Denzel Curry > Rina Sawayama > Belle & Sebastian > Guns n Roses Sun: KGATLW > Robbie > Sampha > Doja Cat > Elton John Be very happy with that. Noname said she would no longer perform for white audiences so I would be very surprised if she's billed for Glastonbury.

Tbf Jamiroquai are playing Lytham festival the Sunday after Glastonbury, so potential there. Amyl & the Sniffers could be around then as well.

Re XX: Think they're all focused on their own ventures currently, no hint of a new album or anything. I know Oliver Sim released his solo debut earlier this year so can't imagine The XX performs as a trio before he tours that.
