  1. Tested negative yesterday and today think it was 5 days in total. Although I've lost my sense of smell and taste which is rather annoying.
  2. You have to keep pressing the "my location" button until the blue radius is really small then it works. I was amazed at how accurate it was.
  3. Not sure it's a hack, but buying a decent cool box this year made such a difference. Got one that stays cold for 3 to 4 days, loaded it with ice and drank cold beer/gin all weekend.
  4. I know it's old news now, but The Growler
  5. Oh do shut up you complete muppet. There are zero covid restrictions and there won't be anymore going forward. The only one sensationalising it is you.
  6. 2 more in my camp have got it now. That's 5 out of 6
  7. It effects people different doesn't it, I'm fine, Mrs isn't. It's not just a cold as can be seen by the 2 years of hell we've just been through.
  8. Those stones & my trolley were not friends.
  9. 3 out of 6 of us have it now, Mrs avoided it last time I had it but tested positive yesterday. British GP is looking less and less likely now 😔
  10. That's the one, was quite expensive but the full box with guacamole was sooo good I had it twice. I don't normally go back to places more than once cause I like to try new things but I couldn't turn that down. Even the coleslaw was delicious.

Had to leave early to pick the dog up, gutted I missed him. Just watched on TV and he was absolutely insane. Feel like I'm gonna regret this for a long time.
  12. Only way this will work is if event organisers get on board with it as well. Not gonna waste loads of money not going if I can't get it back.
  13. Noel Gallagher Foals Idles Honoury mention to Ziggy Marley.
  14. Just hope I shake it off before Friday as I'm off to Silverstone for the British GP.
  15. Best for me was Mexican Fried Chicken thought it was absolutely delicious. Don't think I had anything particularly bad, apart from a drunkern burger that I bought one night which had frozen salad in it. Can't remember where that was from though.
  16. One thing that made the world of difference to me this year was not following 'traditions' and doing it a bit different. I'm not sure if anyone else had this but the group I go with are very set on their ways about how we do Glastonbury, we must drive down through the night on Tuesday, must go in a certain car park, must camp in Pennard Hill, Saturday night is Shangri-La, even down to what food we eat on certain days (Sunday is chocolate brownie and coffee day). I've had some fucking excellent times doing this in the past but I feel if you're trying to replicate past glories you're always going to be disappointed, a bit like doing Christmas as if you were a kid but when you're much older. This year I managed to change some things, we camped in Big Ground and took each day as it comes. I still drove down Tuesday night which I very much doubt I'd do again (especially with the disaster at Gate C in the morning making the early start completely pointless) and overall had a fairly relaxed festival. I think sometimes the decisions I make at Glastonbury are based on what I did 5/6 years ago, forgetting I'm now 5/6 years older and less fitter. Camping in Big Ground was a revelation not just for me but for the rest of the group as well, nice and peaceful at night to the point where I don't think I had less than 7hrs sleep on any night and the access to the main part of the site can't be beaten anywhere else. Didn't go to Shangri-la once this year, don't think I ever enjoyed it and normally walked all that way to get crushed in like sardines listening to music I'm not that in to. Not being scared to miss things, doing what I actually liked and taking it a bit easier made 22 one of the best ones I have done.
  17. Me and one other got it. 90% sure i caught it in the queue on the Wednesday as I had covid throat by Friday evening/Saturday morning. Feel rough as anything today.

Anyone else catch Covid at the festival? Started feeling rough Friday night/Saturday morning, put it down to a bad hangover. Continued to feel gradually worse and ended up walking 17km on Sunday which almost killed me. Tested positive when I woke up this morning a couple of others in my group have got it as well.
  19. I do think some of the crowd issue is due to poor organisation or stewarding. What really bothered me this year seemed to be the never ending stream of vehicles passing through, down paths and through gates/check points. It was just constant waiting for vehicles or moving out the way which didn't help. They also really need to sort out re-entry. Took the stuff to the car on Sunday afternoon and came back to Gate C backed up into the campervan site. Someone in front said it took their friends 1.5 hours to get back in. If I already have my wristband why do I need a ticket, re-entry pass and a thorough check before coming back in? Not ashamed to admit we ran down the hill and brushed passed security because I'm not waiting over an hour to get back in to a site I've already queued to get in to once.
