Turns out selfish newbie from my group bought her own ticket, her brothers and sister-in-laws only!!! which f**ked up two other groups.
Such selfish behaviour in which whole group was not impressed!!

I’d be livid and planning my revenge at Glastonbury (as you’ll get sorted and will be on the farm too )
I’m not a malicious person but i’d personally want to *mistakenly* put salt in their first morning’s coffee as a welcome to Glastonbury gesture.....

They were, I’ve personally secured tickets in “secret resale’s” about 3 times so they did exist and usually after may refund deadline - requires dedication, patience and nerves of steel but if they happen , it is possible to get last chance saloon tickets.
last year, the hardcore that were on the secret resale train waited (sat logged into here daily) for weeks only for it to never happen - which was brutal.
we all won’t need the secret resales though as we will all get sorted in April *crosses fingers, toes and eyes*

I had a presale access code for the wed sale this week, I couldn’t use it as I’ll be going away on holiday early in the morning after the gig.
Shit, i could’ve offered it out if I’d have thought/had my head straight etc etc. Muse seem to get a bit of a slating on here at times

Morning all, the horrible feeling is still with me too. I try to put it all out of my mind but I keep hiding in here. Been in here so many times over the past few years and it doesn’t get any easier. Let’s hope these feelings dissipate more over the next week.
I’m also trying to solve a particular issue for work and I’ve been going around in circles all week, can’t concentrate fully and it’s doing my nut in.
Keep thinking about the resale club, the spreadsheet and how to sort payments etc. I’m sure I spent quite some time a few years ago on a similar thread mulling over these points with others and I don’t think we got a satisfactory conclusion back then to keep people’s card details safe/ensure people for their money back.
Well its almost the weekend, and it’s due to be miserable weather, so I’m going to light the fire later, grab a bottle of wine and snuggle into the sofa with a film, although I’ll probably just drag the pooch and Mr moheetoes to the local pub.

I can’t remember a year when there has been so many regulars missing out and of course the people who have been in this situation for a couple of years.

it does take the shine off quite a bit when you’re sorted and friends aren’t, don’t feel too bad though you will still go to the farm and have the best party ever, with resale tickets for your friends too.

@pentura I also managed to get tix for a group in the 2016 nanosecond May resale (I got sorted in the April resale that year) that was brutal, I remember feeling guilty at getting through in that one, at least we weren’t hanging for weeks like last year, for the secret resale that never happened.

Keep the faith, it is possible. I’ve bought in the resale(except for last year) and secret resale’s (except for last year) quite a few times before. I do think that my buying ticket luck has finally run out.
You’re right @Milky Joeit is so disheartening to see so many familiar people in here this time around.
I’m not looking forward to splitting down my group into 2 lots either, this happened last year our first group of 4 got resale tickets. second group didn’t (Mr moheetoes wasn’t happy and best friend missed out too - we were in separate groups due to family member’s 30th for glasto weekend)
mid May to mid june last year was quite torturous in our household whilst camping in the secrets thread here.
Those who didn’t get through yesterday, I’m with you - not even getting past the holding page myself I’m gutted to be here again (was hoping for a respite year from resale’s - not had a main sale ticket bought for me since Oct 2014) but for those who progressed further to no avail i really feel your pain and despondency, been there too.
Come April, some may drop out as they won’t like the line up, some may drop out due to exams. People’s circumstances change (I had to give my ticket up in 2011 due to health issues) and some people just plain forget to pay their balances off in April.
it’s not over until those gates open next year and then there’s always the twix.

I’ve been succesful in resale’s and secret resale’s in the past 15 years but given the last 2 years failure in main sales, my hope is fading but I’m not giving up just yet.
Strength in numbers with like minded people counts

Until gates opened and beyond I remember for some.
feels like I’ve been in this position for about 4 years now, there’s always someone in our group who ends up missing out as we have been unlucky in main sale for a few years now - last year it was Mr moheetoes who never made it to the farm - it was not a happy household for a few months before and after the festival I can tell you.
