  1. Imagine so yeah, Gaelic definitely wouldn’t have been there as he couldn’t travel to the UK. Not sure about Joe as would depend on when he tested positive
  2. Yeah I was there too, it was Felix and Joe who weren’t there. Joe had covid and Felix was stuck in France due to some sorts covid travel restrictions
  3. Oh 100% (clearly some acts have to be playing on the Friday). More I was saying that some might just have the first date of the festival in their eyes listed while it’s finalised. Have def seen similar happen on artists tour pages before
  4. Yeah it was rammed, we got there late as had been watching Dave and the JP field was closed cos of overcrowding, so weren’t allowed in
  5. Given we have so many acts supposedly on the Friday cos of what their website lists, is it not possible that they’ve just put Friday down as that’s the first day of the main stages being open so in some people’s eyes the first day of the festival proper? Seems slightly odd Friday is so stacked and then slimmer pickings on sat/sun in terms of day confirmations
  6. Thanks. Yeah I had a brief look on Etsy to start off with, but could only see prints/paintings rather than actual photos
  7. Does anyone know where to buy posters that are photos of the site rather than lineup posters? I’m after one that is along the lines of one of the site at sunset with all the lights twinkling, that kinda vibe! Thanks in advance
  8. have we had any info on what's replacing the Beat Hotel yet/ when we can expect to hear?
  9. Jeff Mills; fingers crossed they get him back!!
  10. I reckon Macca's gonna bring out Taylor swift, they're close friends, she lives in the UK and a nice way to give her a taster after 2020 got cancelled, before she headlines Pymild next year
  11. they're also bigger than Justice who headlined West Holts in 2017 (what a gig that was!) so I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them given the step up to headline Other.
  12. It was definitely in the evening as was in the pub after work when it dropped

    Daft Punk

Not gonna happen. Guy-Manuel’s hearing is fucked, plus they only just split up!
  14. Probably cos they wanted a ticket. I’ve heard of people travelling from London to Manchester to then get the coach from there back down to south to the festival as, while being a pain, it means they get a ticket so a price worth paying.
  15. They could def be lined up to DJ on iicon but no way they’re doing their live show on it, as gfa says
  16. Sorry to be that guy but there’s no Thursday 4th March, the 4th is a Friday. Do you mean thurs 3rd March then?
  17. Going to fabric tomorrow for the first time in about 6/7 years to see Laurent Garnier. What’s it like these days? Reason for not going recently is because last few times I went the atmosphere wasn’t great and the security was too much that it kinda killed the night as felt on edge going in and while dancing with them weaving through the crowd with their torches. Has anyone been recently to confirm whether security has calmed down a bit? Also, do the headliners still tend to come on and play for a while like 3/4 hours, as I know from having seen him before that Laurent Garnier likes to play a long set?
  18. When will they learn?! They need to be united to get the tories out!! Surely any Labour government, centrist or not, is better for them than any Tory govt
  19. Odd they’ve been slating Labour who have been calling for the VAT to be scrapped. More lies lies lies
  20. Yeah this is probably very true. A bit risky though as surely selling out at a lower cost is better than not selling out? Last couple years, tickets have been selling out instantly. I know it’s still early days as tickets only came on sale this morning but they’re still available so def not selling as quickly as last couple years
  21. Not writing off £8.7 billion on unusable PPE would be a start.
  22. I know the strokes cost £500k (my friend is an organiser of a smaller festival but couldn’t book them due to the large fee). If that’s too much for Glastonbury then that will be why the strokes won’t play as they won’t budge from that fee from what I’ve been told
  23. £245 jeez that’s steep. I paid £161 when I went to Houghton in 2018. Shows what amazing value Glastonbury is
