I'm near Newbury and the rain for the last couple of hours was extreme. The gully around my house was completely flooded about a foot deep and a river of water running down the drive. However, the rain has stopped for a hour now, and all looks good. Water has soaked in, and no significant surface water left. I think we should be fine, and better to get it past this morning, rather than later when people are in the queues.

Another 6 Music competition on tomorrow. 1 Pair up for grabs. Listeners will be invited to listen to 6 Music between 07:30 and 16:30 on 20th June 2023 to hear four live tracks recorded at the Glastonbury Festival in a designated year. Listeners will be asked to identify the year the archive live tracks were performed at Glastonbury. I've woke up this morning, and for the first time this year it really feels real. Had a long few weeks, and been avoiding the ups and downs of the weather forecast, but just this morning started to get that internal excitement building up, especially seeing all of the other posts about getting ready and seeing some of the others setting off already. A little bit of packing before going to work, but it's going to be a great week.

I had to drive up to Scotland this weekend, and just back this evening. The packing will have to wait until tomorrow!

It does seem fitting for a final picture before the festival then. I had just got that image 30 seconds ago and was going to paste it in...but you just beat me to it! Have a great festival and hopefully meet in in person on Wednesday.
