  1. I've found out that 2 of our 6 aren't trying in the resale. I hang onto any story like that for hope!! Got to buy some more cider to pour away when I'm in town tomorrow, and maybe some chocolate
  2. Haha I'm sure many Everton fans would love nothing more, I'm the opposite, I don't care what they do. We've beaten them once in 14 years, and that was behind closed doors, so its not even a rivalry anymore and hasn't really been in my lifetime! We sometimes get draws against them at Goodison so a point isn't out the question. I'd fancy our chances more than Arsenal away where we always lose heavily!
  3. They were selling them on the bar last year, been around a few years now
  4. Even with the deductions, if we don't stay up its our own fault. Forest, Brentford and Sheffield United at home, Luton away. Even with Chelsea and Arsenal away and Liverpool at home we should be getting enough points, though I think Luton will beat us as they seem to have our number this season
  5. We've done some of that, we managed to get the first breach delayed to this season instead of admitting guilt and being punished last season, which would've seen us relegated. It's mad how poor the league is though, an 8 point total deduction and 1 win in 14 and we're still not in the relegation zone. Also Brentford and Palace have quietly had seriously bad seasons to still be in danger at this point, they were miles ahead a few weeks ago
  6. My favourite bit is this
  7. Got away with it with just 2 more points deducted. In our hands to stay up now, and the relegation battle looks wide open all the way up to 14th!
  8. So annoying. First forced year off since I started going it is then!
  9. Token effort on the chocolate one I think being location based
  10. Seems like it, it was on one day then gone the next so there mustn't have been many
  11. Haha same though I followed a couple of bands and Glastonbury just in case it was flagged as some sort of spam!
  12. Finally gave in and signed up for Tiktok!
  13. Great support slot for Holly Humberstone to get
  14. You've given me hope there!
  15. I noticed that too! Wonder how many will miss that in the terms...
  16. Yes! I'm with you. I also think the relative lack of hype around the festival means there'll be resale successes too
  17. Ha I'm not even drinking it, just using it for entries. That Crowdfunder "great news!" email got the heart racing for a couple of seconds...
  18. Not sure I'd like that you know, hate politics taking over in an overt way beyond the messaging - its the chanting I don't like. oh jeremy corbyn, f**k the tories etc did/does my head in at gigs. Though not as bad as groups of guys bursting into "Will Grieg's on fire" every 2 minutes that year...
  19. Their reunion tour shows were electric, an incredible atmosphere. I'm a big fan of The Subways too, but Victoria Warehouse is the worst located venue for me as there's no guarantee of making the last train
  20. Pre sale on the Twitter thread for anyone interested. We were going to go to Live at Leeds pretty much just to see these, but going to give that a miss now and just go to this instead!
  21. I had a very vivid resale failure dream last night. That's a lot earlier than normal!!
  22. I'd love a poll on this from a place with non-Glasto obsessive followers or posters. Glastobation has 17k followers, so skewed towards the obsessives
  23. That makes sense. I think it'll be easier once we know exactly what method we're using. I think we all assume last year was a one off due to the payment issues, but there's no way of knowing til an official announcement!
  24. How is it working? Its a hard sell when you've got 3 people trying who look at you like you're mental when any talk of getting involved with a group on an internet forum to get tickets comes up. It'd be fine if it was just me trying for us, mainly because anything more complex than "put your details in and buy them" tends to send people into a spin. To put it into perspective, I had to shout at my friend to get on with it when he got through and immediately started posting in the Whatsapp group in October instead of just doing it. He spent so long meticulously checking the numbers on his ipad that it sold out. Another friend wasn't up for our own mini group of two teams where we everyone keeps trying as it seemed like too much. The normal sale function is a hard sell anyway. Its all good if they do the email then pay thing as no money is involved, though that means less chance as its so much quicker and people can get more help as they don't need payment details.
