Hey,
I am a journalism student at Kingston university and for my current assignment I am writing an article about ticket touts and selling tickets second hand.
Just wondering if anyone has paid above face value for their ticket after buying it from an unofficial source? And if so could you answer a few quick questions for me? Its just for coursework so no one but my teachers are going to see my article.

I won tickets on ebay last year, when I tried to contact the seller (before I paid for them luckily), I got no reply, I just assumed that they'd sold them somewhere else.
Anyway, as it was the morning of V (friday), I just drove down there and bought two off a tout outside for £200 A piece. I hate buying off touts, but I didnt have much choice.
Had a wicked time :-)

Well even if you buy from the official vendors you pay a service charge so you get nowt at 'face value'
