Same as @Mardy. In years we are not there we tend to just carry on, some years we have spent the money on other activities but it isnt the end of the world. Especially now that there are no headliners left that are Must See for us.

Indeed. I often disagree (a lot) with Billy and I often disagree with Frank, doesn't mean that I don't go along and listen to what they have to say and enjoy their sets. Tony Benn was very clear on this need for dialogue and discussion.

Anyhow. Silver Hayes, Avalon and Acoustic are the stages we are most looking forward to so really would love to see them out first. Then West Holts, Leftfield and Glade.

Have you ever snuck into Glastonbury with no ticket (post 2000)?

I do become a proper jobsworth about this because it does threaten the licence and really affects the feeling onsite. But mostly because I'm out there in all weathers contributing for my ticket and others are just chucking a security guard some cash. The first year I did recycling we were camped in where Block 9 is now and that was where the fence had a massive hole in. That was actually really fun. -
I would agree - there are some roles that can be made viable with a RA and there are some that can't and the charities and orgs should be clear about that. I may be reaching the end of my ability to litterpick for example and I am ok with that as I think they should be able to specify x, y, z. Other roles should have very clear RA policies and make sure that they are delivering what they say they wil. What they shouldnt do is claim one thing and do another.

2007 was unrelentingly wet but worse than that it was cold as well. I did get married that year though in a big dress, Mr Giantkatestacks in a tuxedo.
