Listen doodes, don't get too paniky just yet.... It's way too soon to start predicting the weather, the models can give us a general idea but the timings can be way out.

Lets do a little experiment... Note down your current local forecast for next friday as if a festival was happening next weekend in your local town. In just over a weeks time we can compare results and laugh at the accuracy of our noted down forecasts. I bet the forecasts will be way out even if you noted down the weather forecast for 5 days from now.. For me (according to accuweather) it's going to be mostly cloudy and warm 22c on tuesday with an afternoon shower or thunderstorm. Next weekend is due to be cloudy with a thunderstorm or two high of 18 low of 12... we shall see, I'll report back !

Weather models can be a usefull tool but add a little CHAOS and who knows what will happen

Light showers won't annoy me much if they are not continous, Looking at other forecasts from around that area, It seems rather strange. They all seem to be the different, if you take wind in to account.

Wasn't Download predicted to be pissing down, and yet someone mentions full sun up above.

let's look at it all another way.

we'll be dancing or whatever in the sun or rain, while paris hilton will be on her tod in the slammer, amid puddles of tears. roflmao.

i have no time for the girl, there is a service for such rich drunks where a guy comes and drives you home from clubs in your car. she has enough money for that so she shouldnt have been behind the wheel, she thought she was above it all and a super driver, she aint. anyway back to the weather

Accuweather was well, not accurate for the past 3 days in Bournemouth, and that's been on the actual day.

And we don't have fog at the moment, we don't have fog on hot days here, so i don't quite know what they are on about.

Plus surely if a thunderstorm happens, the chances of it happening on the next 5 days, is well really remote, aren't they supposed to clear the air and cool it.

which gives me this conclusion........that they aren't actually predicting the right area of the world, or country, infact the site name should change it's name.

WEATHER....HUH, WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, oh hang on a minute.....

How did this thread get onto the topic of Ms Hilton and her temporary jail visit? Nevermind, she deserves whatever she serves plus more. Released early due to sickness, I mean, Come On!!! "Oh, I'm tired", can I take 2 weeks off work full pay please? and when I'm due back in, I'll need more time off to get over the stress of going back to work....GET A JOB \ Proper life you lazy bitch! (I'll bet you can tell I've had a great week at work and have not hit the booze to try to shake off the strain(!) )

Weather reports: useless.

For example, I'm currently looking at the BBC 24-hour forecast for Nottingham. Apparently it is 7pm on Friday and it's been constantly raining since 10pm yesterday. None of this is correct.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
