How quickly does camping fill up?

Hi,

Could anyone let me know if there would likely be room for us to pitch a six person bell tent late Thursday or early Friday please?

There will definitely be space somewhere, if you’re not too fussed about where it is.

Cant give a direct answer to the question - but My logic would be the later you get there the harder it will be to find a spot to fit a big tent in - which might mean a lot more trecking about carrying the tent and then as above - probably have to accept a spot that other campers have avoided for some reason i.e near toilets on slope etc etc

If it was me id probably go with getting there earlier if you want a big tent in a not sh*t spot - or if arriving late is unavoidable then maybe go smaller tentwise.
