anyone sober going?

will be my first eotr in 5 years and first camping fest in 3 years... have got sober in that time and am very much a man of luxury / early night / cans of coke / cups of tea... anyone got experience of doing eotr without the booze? anyone going who is sober and wants to hang out? :)))

My GF and I are sober and we went last year and will be going again this year. We had a blast. It’s actually nice to wake up without a hangover, go for a little walk around the place, get some coffee in the morning, all those kinds of thing. 
 

I can’t say it detracted from the experience at all. The friends we went with all brought their little kids, so they weren’t going wild or anything. It was a fun vibe all round.

One of my lot started going sober a few years ago after a few years of going 'drunk' 😄 He was apprehensive at first but had a fine time and has never looked back. Drinks 0% beer so he can still join in with any late night drinking sessions if he fancies it. It's a very un- lairy festival in the main so should be fine.
