they only get paid for people provided though, so even in the situation you describe, if they are one, two, or twenty people short of the agreed number then random illusive places might pop up! Who knows!?

5 years including pandemic is an entire R&L target audience shift. Especially as they have spent last few years focusing on this '6 headliners' business which is mostly acts who are too big for sub but too small as a 'traditional R&L' headliner. -
FRI: Undecided - Dua I think will put on an incredible show, but have seen her live before. Friends want to see either Idles/Fontaines. Also tempted by Faithless SAT: Coldplay SUN: The National

I was thinking about the line-up today and realised that there a quite a few artists with albums out this year or last year who you might expect to turn up at Glastonbury, but aren’t. The likes of Beth Gibbons, Villagers, Nadine Shah, Elbow, Paul Weller, Vampire Weekend, The Smile, The Waeve etc and there are probably loads more I can’t think of right now. Having seen Nadine Shah’s post on X/Twitter maybe explains why some might not be there, but it seems odd that there are so many artists with new records out and touring but not on the farm…especially when there are, or seem to be, so many acts on the lineup with no new music Keane, Zutons etc etc
