Parking at Bath & West but camping onsite?

Self explanatory really, is this possible?  

Family member had their camper on there last year whilst we were camping and ended up in the furthest field in Pink carparks available! 😞 Mare

They mentioned why don't we park at Bath & West as there was lots of room and get the bus in with our gear this year.... is this allowed? I've always just parked where we land..

(We're going to go for gate opening this year so hopefully be a little closer, at least the right side of the road...)

As far as I know, Bath and West is a drop off point only to catch the shuttle to take you and all your gear to site - you can’t leave a car there overnight/number of nights.

You would need to have bought a campervan/caravan pitch but I have seen people use B&W as base and take camping gear in for overnight/weekend whatever.
