The build up more than anything else. It wasn't great generally, but that was compounded when the weekend before the gates opened a crazy amount of rain fell in about half a day and the site flooded in places. The ground was completely saturated from the start - across the actual festival weekend it was mostly fine but not enough to dry things out.

Next person please include tiger woods plus 10 for national … for some reason it required post approval and I’d not done it in time -

I'm usually ok off little sleep when partying. Wed - hopefully catch sunset and sunrise. Missed last year but previously drop Mrs off around 4/5am in the back campervan field, then walk back to the stone circle for sunrise. Home for a 2/3hrs sleep then back out Thurs until 5/6/7am, up around 10/11am - rinse repeat until Sunday when I stop drinking in the afternoon and go to bed after the headliners/food. I love dance music, bimble around the fields, watch a few bands, eat the lovely food and the find house/acid/techno. Like mentioned, plenty of extras and vodka mainly. -
First post in this thread but I'm a hoor for weather chat prior to a festival. Obviously still too far out to get any reasonable prediction. As a first timer who has never had to follow this before, what made 2016 so bad? Constant rain over the weekend? A very wet build up? Mix of both? And in the past few years where it has seemed glorious, has it been a case of solid good/dry weather for a week or two prior and of the festival itself or what?
