Giving up Sunday ticket for weekend ticket

I have a local Sunday ticket but want to try for the weekend resale this week. Does anyone know if I need to give up the Sunday ticket first or if I am able to buy a weekend ticket and give up the Sunday ticket after? They will both be using the same registration number so not sure how that works. Thank you!

You'd need to cancel the Sunday ticket first - and for the cancellation to have been fully actioned by Seetickets - before purchasing a Weekend ticket.

To be blunt about it, you may have left it too late. The safest approach would be a second registration, but new registrations are now closed until after the resale.

I wouldn't trust them to do it by E-Mail - they seem to be processing cancellations in batches every few weeks so it's quite possible they don't get to it until after the resale. You could give Seetickets a call and see if they can ensure that the cancellation will be processed straight away, but that's about it.
