2019 - too hot, but the best time ever!! Dr Meaker, Dub Pistols, Damned, Idles, Fat White Family, Elvis Dead 2015 - last time with the kids, the Who, Motorhead, SFA, Buzzcocks, The Fall, Spiritualized, would be top but my best friend snapped her cruciate on theatre field while attempting a high kick 2016 - stuck for 11 hours at Shepton Mallet to get on site, lost both wellies to the mud in a urinal up by the park almost cried but a nice bloke carried me out and another brought my wellies to me, ZZ Top, Muse, James, ELO, Selecter.. Brexit too 😞 2009 - my first.. me, wife, kids and friends with their kids..- Specials, Neil Young, Spinal tap 2014 - just me and the kids and friends with their kids again.. Selecter, Blondie 2010 - me, wife, kids and friends with their kids..marriage ended the day after we got back - Snoop, Muse, toots 2013 - too Hot again !.. just me and the kids and friends with their kids.. severe food poisoning led me to be sick in my shorts while on a long drop at 3am in kidz field - The Stones, The Beat (twice), Dinosaur Jr 2022 - Wet Leg, yard Act, Dub Pistols, JAMC, could have been the best, but ruined by gout, had to leave Sunday afternoon as pain was too much -
The reality is that some Jewish people feel upset, uncomfortable or threatened by some of the support for Palestine. It's fair for you or me to think that's not necessary, or ridiculous, or whatever, and as hinted at, there was a thread a few weeks that got in to that. But that doesn't change the fact that those people feel that way, and that some of those people will be at Glastonbury. And that by carrying a flag like that, you'll be making those people uncomfortable. Is your friend happy to do that? There's no right or wrong answer to that question by the way. It's not rhetorical either. It's totally valid to say "this cause is important to me, and those people will have to deal, and if they speak to me or confront me I'll have that conversation". It's also totally valid to say "y'know what, this is Glastonbury, the cause is important but I don't want to upset anyone, I'll leave it at home and find other ways to show my solidarity".
