waynewdk
Afternoon everybody. Wonder if you could answer a few questions please, i looked through a few Tipi threads, and got a lot of useful info, but i have a few more questions, somemay have already been covered but I've got a bad memory, and be nice to refer back to my thread when i come to try book Thanks in Advance 1. How many Tipis are there? 2. Is it really as hard as getting a ticket, or harder? I've managed to grab ticket 5 times, and been unsuccessful 3 times. 3. We was going try for camper, but it's looking expensive with a lot sold out, but if we can't get a tipi may go back to the idea of getting a camper, so do these tickets go onsale at the same time? As while I'm trying to get Tipi ticket, the Campers may sell out and could be stuck with none. 4. Are the Tipi's waterproof, is there a slight incline on the grass (always helps with mud) 5. Are the showers more quicker to use than the green peace ones, they sometimes were busy, some times i would go at 6am if awake or 5-6 pm after the sun started to cool. 6. Do the Tipi's get hot like tents 7. When they go on sale are we likely to experience like crashing sites like ticket day? would info would i need ready to put in? Thank you for all your input
Hotchilidog
This will be my first attempt at the Tipis this year as we finally have the optimum sized group. 1. I believe there are 300 tipis for the public sale 2. Sadly I think it is 3. Yes I believe campers go on sale at the same time. Glastonbury normally send an accommodation email out prior to the sale to clarify this 4. Yes they are and there is a slight incline 5. No idea 6. Not sure, I imagine they protect against both and cold, this is supposition on my part though 7. I'd doubt it. You just may miss out on the tipis but you'll be able book other accommodation. 8. Good luck!
