Thursday

I've only ever been on the Thursday once before, I don't remember much of that night! lol. Is it just the main stage that's open on the Thursday ?? I know Thursday is considered a "bonus" but being back on the campsite by midnight just feels wrong!!! And who exactly is playing on the Thursday, Franz, Frightened Rabbit, British Sea Power . . who else ??  I did see it somewhere but can't find it now, the KC site doesn't seem to give any confirmation of Thursday acts . . .

Man and the Echo and Shimmer band are also on main stage the Thursday.

I feel Thursdays have become a lot bigger the last few years with more to do seemingly added every year. I cant remember for definite but sure I was out and about well past midnight last year,

Chai Wallahs is 'open' as well...the only band I can remember as being advertised is By The Rivers (a cracking british reggae band)

Just had it confirmed from their official Facebook page, but unfortunately By The Rivers will no longer be performing...they've cancelled all their bookings for the rest of 2017 (no reason given)...bit gutted as they're one of the better reggae performers that were on the line-up

I've always found Thursday's worth paying for, a more relaxed start to the festival, not as busy and more relaxed watching the band's. There's not loads open but there doesn't need to be, a few bars and a few stages is fine for me !
