Anyone in west campervan yet?

Can't see an existing thread for this...just after an update on how full west cv is. We're about an hour away. But our friends aren't allowed to collect their rental van in London until 5.30 so probably won't be there until 9ish. Having a dilemma about whether to get there nice and early and get a good spot but not camp with our friends...OR wait for them but possibly end up right at back of 2nd field or next to the toilets! Any advice would be great. Safe travels everyone x

Last time  I was there (2013) we arrived on the Thursday about 5pm,  one of the last vans in the place, was still far enough away from loos to not smell them!  the walk from gate to there didn't take long.  Setting off from Edinburgh in a couple of hours, so hoping to take in Wednesday evening this time!

Thanks! We are parked up and managed to get our friends next to us. Have a good festival when you get here. Field 2 is v empty at the moment. Nice to see so much green grass after last year!

Anyone got any idea where you're supposed to empty your toilet in West? Stewards don't seem to kniw...

How busy is West CV field? More space/better organised than last year? Will be down later on today. Cheers
