Glastonbury DVD

Like many others, it's a pre-festival watch for me. I'm sure I bought it well before my first festival, but I'm not sure if I got around to watching it before attending. Will likely watch it the Saturday evening before this year, just after I've got my bag packed up.

Tradition dictates we watch this on the Monday night before Glastonbury every time. It helps to get us in the mood and just edges that excitement up a tiny bit more! Fantastic film.

Watched the first hour of this last night, and I have to say it's great so far. I was aware of various bits and pieces the festival has had to deal with over the years, however Julien Temple does a great job piecing it all together to put things into perspective. Glasto was so raunchy too! Although I'm sure it still is is some parts...

Some great raw footage of acts too. On a side-note, I watched some of the footage of Pulp back in 1995 and 2011. Wow, how I wish I could have been there for those (or at least the secret appearance - I would have been 8 in 1995!).

Back on topic though, if you haven't yet had the opportunity to watch the DVD, go check it out. I'll be watching the rest tonight!
